Even More Progress Towards Fulltiming.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Other than waking occasionally we both slept like a couple of rocks last night and the only thing we took all day for our cold/flu was a cough drop before going to bed. Since we didn’t get to bed until slightly after midnight I didn’t get out of bed until nearly 8:00 this morning. Because Kathy has been fighting this problem longer than I have she slept later than expected. Even with no new accumulation the outside temperatures were much lower than either of us cared to sample with windchills well below zero on the Fahrenheit scale. I did brave the elements this morning to go clean the s@#w off the car and truck before it would harden and take longer to clean off. This also allowed the brief sunshine that we experienced today to finish melting anything left on the vehicles. The only thing we needed for breakfast this morning was our coffees and then we had soup and more coffee for lunch so I could warm up.

Working together we managed to post our beautiful bedroom set, the exercise room mirror and the aluminum bunkbed ladder that we never used in our trailer onto Kijiji. These are just some of the things we want to sell rather store before we begin our Fulltiming adventure in the spring. We also managed to make further progress on notifying people of the change to our mailing address this afternoon.

We chose to have a thin crust veggie pizza for an early supper. The reason for that is we had to stop at the Wholesale Warehouse on Dougal Avenue to pick up a fresh supply of coughdrops. Kathy and I used almost our entire stockpile of coughdrops during our recent battle with this cold/flu virus and our battle is not over with yet neither is the winter. Buying them in bulk at the Wholesale Warehouse ends up costing us far less than if we purchased them at a Dollar Store. After dropping Kathy at the door I didn’t even have time to park the truck and she was already on her way out of the store with our purchase.

At that point Mother Nature decided that it wasn’t quite white enough outside but since we were on our way to Amherstburg in the truck it didn’t matter. We were trying to get back in the swing of things for our weekly visit with Kevin and Melissa and since we missed our visit due to illness last week we had twice as much to get caught up on. Even though Melissa had just gotten home she made certain that there were plenty of snacks (She was trying to use up from the holidays) for us to enjoy! She also knows about my see food diet and that fact that I never met a calorie I didn’t like LOL. After another fun filled visit by the time we were headed home there wasn’t too much of the landscape that wasn’t white. Running two sets of foglights on the truck and the fact that it has all wheel drive we didn’t have any problems getting home. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

Rather than posting

we'd rather dream
of warmer climates.
