Fulltime Purging Starting To Show.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Both of us had a slightly restless night and ended up sleeping until nearly 8:30 this morning. Under normal circumstances that would not matter one bit but today we had to hustle to make up time. If you recall in yesterday’s post I mentioned that we had listed our beautifully ornate bedroom set on Kijiji as part of our downsizing in preparation for our Fulltiming adventure. By the time I published the blog last night we already had booked an appointment for a prospective buyer to see it this morning for 10:00. We made it through breakfast and were busy dusting and clearing any unnecessary items from the bedroom. Moments before the appointed time we got a call from John saying he was delayed but was interested and would arrive the latest by 11:00. He arrived on time and was happy enough to leave a deposit with plans of returning this evening.
This what our bedroom looked like this morning.
Once he left Kathy and I quickly had lunch so we could now run some errands. We sold the bedroom set not including our mattress and bedspring so the first place we went to was Sears where we thought we could purchase a metal frame for it. That’s when we were told they had to be ordered and since Kathy wasn’t about sleep on the floor we headed to Leon’s. Kathy and I walked around the entire store without a salesperson asking what we needed. We were about to leave the store when Terry came to our rescue. They had what we wanted and cheaper than if we had ordered it at Sears. Another quick stop to get extra mailbox keys cut at Home Hardware and we were home by supper time.
This is what it looked like between the loads.
John called to say he’d be around to pick up the bedroom set by 7:00 but it was nearly 8:00 by the time he and his brother Harry arrived. Due to wet weather forecasted for tomorrow and only the use of a short box pickup they ended up having to take multiple loads. In fact they just left minutes ago with their last load for the night. Now we get to set up our bedroom so we can go to bed tonight. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It does take time but time passes rather fast.
