Reducing, Packing, Transferring And Making Progress.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We actually managed to get to bed at our normal time last night but that didn’t stop us from sleeping soundly until 8:00 this morning. We enjoyed a lite breakfast with a couple of cups of coffee that we finished off at the computers. We did a little more rearranging in the bedroom this morning once again using the clear storage containers that we’d packed our clothes into for the purpose of giving us additional countertop spacing.
Only moved 70 gig of picture files today.
Kathy then busied herself going through more of the old files sorting what needs to be held onto a bit longer from the ones that I would later shred. I tried using the Desktop Hard Drive Storage Unit on my PC again without any luck before finally trying it on the laptops. It worked like a charm so I thought that I could simply transfer so many picture files at a time from the PC to a memory stick then to the Storage Unit. I was making progress until my only high capacity memory stick gave up its ghost. For the remainder of the day I could only move 4 Gig of pictures at a time. I’ll have to finish later this week because I have other things to do.
Kathy packing contents of the Curio Cabinet.
Kathy also managed to pack away the contents from her Curio Cabinet making certain was safely packed. We are expecting someone early tomorrow morning that is interested in buying our workout room mirror. Since we are now less than Fifteen Weeks away from being Fulltimers we’ll hope our health holds out so we can accomplish what has to be done on time. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Nice to see you guys are smart and doing your downsizing in a well-planned way. We can testify that our belly-flop into fulltiming is probably not the best idea. Since our "escape" is more or less contemporaneous with yours, it should be interesting to compare notes via the blogs. We're excited for you!

  2. With 15 weeks left to go you have plenty of time. No need to stress about the downsizing for sure.
