Another Step Towards Fulltiming.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Even though we both managed to toss and turn throughout the night and to occasionally momentarily wake we both felt a little better this morning. After days of having to overmedicate ourselves in order to get rid of our cold/flu virus we actually only took a single Tylenol Cold and Flu tablet just before going to bed yesterday. We were feeling physically slightly better this morning but were in no hurry to get out of bed. The overnight temperature had plummeted and was down to 10 F (-12 C) with the windchill of -6 F (-21 C) and we hadn’t  adjusted our baseboard heater quite properly. All throughout our breakfast you could hear a crackling sound coming from the baseboard heaters as they attempted to once again take the chill out of the air in the apartment. We combined our morning computer reading with some research phone calling. With further brainstorming we were able to come up with a game plan at accomplishing something towards our goal of Fulltiming today.
Wishing we were here!
Putting together an early lunch we were out the door just before noon. What we didn’t like about this trip was that we were wearing our heavy winter coats that we haven’t worn in a number of years. With just recovering from this cold/flu we weren’t taking any chances of another setback. Our destination was Guardian Storage where we had to put our name on a waiting list for a Climate Controlled storage unit. It seems that more people are realizing that simply storing their valuables in a storage unit does not protect them from the weather changes. There are a number of units that are due to be available by the beginning of March. Also many Fulltimers depend on Mail Forwarding Companies or a family member’s homes for a legal address and a place to have their mail delivered. Since we don’t want to depend on someone else collecting our mail Kathy and I also established our new mailing address. When that was finished we drove through the storage yard and made certain that there wasn’t anything wrong with our trailer before heading back to the apartment.
This would be nice too.
It felt good to be back inside the warmth of the apartment as the wind speed had increased making it feel colder than it actually was outside. We immediately started notifying businesses and friends of the change to our mailing address. We will work on that again tomorrow. By supper time we’d barely made a dent in the list but at least it’s a start. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. It's all about crossing one do-to item off that list at the time. All adds up.
