White Landscape, Light Exercise and Bernie Sweatshirts.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

Looking out the Balcony Door first thing this morning a massive Cloud totally filled the sky. Not very inspirational so I didn’t bother taking a picture. Checking The Weather Network and Radar showed a front already over our area but it should be gone after lunch.

I surprised Kathy when she got up by making French Toast for breakfast. Since I’m not yet working I try to vary what we have but know that at least a couple times a week there will be a repeat.

We’d barely sat at the Computers when I noticed the beginnings of the Flurries forecasted had finally started.

There was plenty of reading to do with many RV Bloggers that had not written in a Week or Month trying to catch up on what they have been doing. A lot of our American Friends are making us jealous by being in the southwest desert while Canadian RVers can only look longingly at the closed International Borders.

By lunchtime everything outside was turning White which meant we’d simply stay in. Driving under these conditions has never bothered me. It’s those that think they can scoot around like they are on dry pavement that bothers me. The fact that our area spreads Salt on the Roads to melt the ice creates a slow Cancer that will eventually rust away most of our vehicles. Again as long as I’m not working we’ll wait a few days for the roads to dry.

We had Split Pea with Ham Soup for lunch along with Orange Slices, Cookies and an Apple Sauce Cup for dessert.

After going back to the Computers for a short while Kathy decided to make a Cherry Pie. When I offered to help I was told the kitchen was too small even though we’ve worked together in there before.

That gave me the chance to do some moderate exercises. With my Back still bothering me it will take some time to be as agile as I was a month ago.

Around 4:00 we noticed the flurries had stopped and moments later we could hear the familiar sound of the Plows cleaning the parking lot.

For supper we had Pork Kabobs, Wild Rice and Carrots. Kathy insisted we have a piece of the Cherry Pie she had just baked. Unfortunately because it was still Hot it didn’t come out of the pie pan the way it should have.

On the 6 o’clock local News there were only 68 New Coronavirus Cases reported today with 0 Deaths.

We turned on the US News Media just on time to catch an interview with Bernie Sanders. On Inauguration Day most in men attendance were wearing Fancy Topcoats and Leather Gloves in order to keep warm. Bernie Sanders however attended wearing a Parka and Knitted Mittens to keep warm. Since then some Bloggers and lots of Celebrities have Photo-Shopped Bernie into pictures with them. Being someone that looks out for others Bernie had Sweatshirts with that picture printed out and sold in a matter of hours. The proceeds went to a charity that feeds the Homeless. Another batch of Sweatshirts is already being printed up for the same purpose. “Good Man Bernie!”

Need your wind mill going. It rained so much the big white tent was closed at eleven o'clock the last day of the show. Water inside.
The french toast sounds good. Why do they call it french bread 🍞?

  4. Ah. Hot cherry pie is good no matter how it looks...I am envious. Actually, all your meals sound great. Like you, I am more worried about other drivers in the snow and ice.
