Even
though we didn’t accomplish as much as would have like to yesterday
at the Trailer it was enough to make us both sleep like a
couple of rocks. I was up by 7:30 and Kathy by 8:00. Breakfast was
Cereal with our Coffee/Tea enjoyed at the Computers.
Our morning Sunrise. |
We
knew we wanted to get more finished while our area was experiencing
this warmer weather but we had other things we needed to do before
leaving the apartment this morning. When I mentioned having Soup
again for lunch Kathy’s side ways glance told me she wanted
something different.
Minutes later. |
Considering
that we’ve been eating out a lot at the Fast Food Outlets
lately we thought that we’d try something in between. We headed
over to Pizza Hut where we took
advantage of their Lunch Buffet. That gave us the chance to
try the different kinds of Pizzas we haven’t had for a
while. We probably had more then we should have but we knew that we’d
be working it off.
When
we arrived at Guardian Storage we
immediately went to the Trailer. Even though we had emptied
many of the Cupboards and Counters there was still more
to do just in the Kitchen/Living Area. Every time a Box was
filled I brought it out to the Car to give us room. We also
filled a smaller Box and a few Shopping Bags with
Electronics and Toiletries that would be brought to the
apartment.
The
Weather Network along with the local Weather Guessers
kept saying we would reach 52 F (11 C) today but with
the increase of Clouds it felt much cooler. By 3:30 we needed
to take a break so we could warm up but planned on returning to do
more packing.
As
we were about to leave a Truck Driving Instructor came over to
speak to us. His career has been spent driving the Highways in
Ontario. With plans to retire
next year he and his wife are considering buying an RV. With
kids on both Canadian Coasts they thought that would be a
great way of doing it. When we told him about Fulltiming and
going “Off the Grid” his eyes started lighting up. He had
to go back to Work but will try to talk to us again soon.
With
the Car filled with Boxes we went to the Storage
Unit where we were able to add to the collection of Boxes
and Bins already there.
We
then went to Harvey’s where we
found comfort as well as delicious food for our supper. Again we were
able to use a Coupon to help keep our costs down.
It
was around 4:30 when we got back to the Trailer and loaded
everything we had packed to go to the apartment in the Car.
The Wind was picking up and the Clouds were so thick
that the Street Lights were turning on. Expecting it to start
to Rain any minute as the forecast had shown we closed up the
Slides and headed for home.
We
carried as many Bags as possible on the way in to the building
but when we went in the Rear Entrance there were Three
Shopping Carts. We filled one that Kathy brought it upstairs
while I took a second Cart and retrieved the last of the
Things we were bringing to the Apartment. When they were
both empty I returned them downstairs at the same time.
We
watched the Local 6 o’clock News but instead of watching any
Christmas Programs
we enjoyed Warm Showers to get rid of the chill in our bodies.
The
last few nights I’ve not been able to upload any Pictures
we had taken by using the port in my Laptop. One of the
Electronic Gizmos I brought to the apartment was a Card
Reader that can read Five Different Sized Cards that I
used on my old Desktop Computers. I’ll get tonight’s
Pictures posted today but will go back to add the pictures in the
other posts tomorrow.
Speaking
of tomorrow we’ve got appointments and errands to take care of.
We’ll also be getting hit with 50+MPH
Winds
so we might not make it to the Trailer.
Thank
you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s
about time.

Yikes! With that kind of wind, will you feel it in the apartment? The best thing ever is your view!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how many items that we RVers manage to store in our rigs.
