When
I got up at 7:30 this morning it was impossible to imagine how many
times the Clouds would change the appearance of the Sky
today. The first picture of the day was taken before the Sun
crested the eastern Mountain Range giving the appearance of a
Bright Sunny Day. The next picture did not disappoint with a
glare that brought out all the colours of the spectrum. I was certain
that Kathy would enjoy seeing this.
Since
she is dealing with Sinus Issues and not sleeping too soundly
it was nearly 8:30 by the time she got up. The only way that I could
work at the Computer had been to lower the Two main
Window Shades. Now sitting at the table to have breakfast
imagine my surprise when I looked outside to see such a thick Cloud
Covering that it appeared the Sun had already set. Moving
our Coffee/Tea over to the Computers and looking
towards the windows the Sun was putting on a show for us
playing with the Clouds.
I
was very honoured while reading the Comments this morning that
Joe from Somewhere in Time who happens
to be a very Talented Artist asked permission to paint
some of our pictures. We put them in the Blog for everyone to
see or use as they see fit. We are more then happy to share what we
are seeing first hand.
Another
Comment from JB from John & Brenda’sIncredible Journey explaining that the Lower Grades of
Gasoline contain Ethanol which attracts moisture. John
also said he uses nothing but High Test in his Generator
for exactly that reason. Thanks John for verifying what Wayne
suspected to be our problem.
After
completing our Inside Chores we made plans for this afternoon.
We’d had a lite breakfast so in order to get an earlier start Kathy
first made Toast on the stove then made a Provolone
Cheese Omelette that we shared. The taste was wonderful and
topping it off with a Yogurt Cup for dessert we were soon
heading out the door.
Selling Hats????? |
Our
destination was the Tyson Wells Vendors
Area. With a clear Blue Sky overhead we were able
to snag a roadside parking spot. While emptying our Waste Barrel
on Tuesday I damaged one of our Twist-On Gate Valves. Having
priced them at the Big Tent and at RV Lifestyles for
Wayne I knew that I could find a better one at a lower price at K&B
Tools. That only took
a couple of minutes to accomplish but we planned to do more walking.
No more Cows Heads for sale this year. |
After
putting our purchases in the Truck we headed across the road
to see which vendors were still around. There were empty spots where
many had already pulled out but we kept walking. Most of the Vendors
in this area had stayed past the middle of February last year. We
shared a Smoothie and each purchased a T-Shirt before
calling it a day.
After
doing all that walking and having not really planned what we would
have for supper we decided to go to Taco Mia where we had
their “All you can eat Fish Dinner”. Since we have been
cutting back on our portions neither of us ordered anything extra nor
did we finish our Fries.
As
we were leaving someone was outside trying to see if there was any
produce that might have fallen off the Delivery Truck.
It seemed that he was more scared of the workers but sat calmly and
posed for us.
Love the reflections off the windows. |
Back
at La Posa South LTVA there was a
lot more empty space then yesterday. The Clouds were again
starting to build a wall around the Sun creating interesting
patterns throughout the Sky.
It’s
hard to believe that January is finished already and we will soon be
counting down our days before we have to head back to Ontario
but we are glad we are not there right now. The Great
Lakes Region
is experiencing Temperatures
colder then Antarctica
and Mount
Everest.
Like I said we are glad to be here.
Thank
you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s
about time.

You should be happy for sure! It's the worst cold I've ever felt. We all have colds now, go figure, but are staying hunkered inside and hibernating on weekends. Good weather to cook and organize. I don't mind the cold usually, but man, this is really extreme! Hope you are sucking in the sun while you can. xo
ReplyDeleteI like all the cloud pictures so amazing what colors come through.
ReplyDeleteI sure have no complaints about the weather here. But my May I'm sure I will be very unhappy.
What and honor for someone to want to use your photos for art.
