Well Kathy finally got a half decent night of sleep last night. I personally got a few hours of sleep as well. When you can’t turn your mind off at night the best thing to do is to work on a new program that you’re creating until your eyes finally start to close.
We spent our usual time reading the blogs and E-mail on the computers after breakfast but by 10:30 we were off to run some errands. The reason for the early departure was that there was a severe weather forecast for our area this afternoon.
We stopped at Canadian Tire first because the wiper blades on Kathy’s car were doing a better job of mucking up the view out the windshield then cleaning it. We also decided to look around the patio section where we were able to find some rope lights that we wanted for our Gazebo we keep in the trailer.
Next we stopped at the dollar store where there are always some things that we actually needed that we do use from there.
It was nearly noon so a stop at Taco Bell for lunch with that south of the border taste. We find that we can feel comfortable without being stuffed when we eat there and it is a fairly balanced meal.
Our last stop was at Zehr’s grocery store where we picked up just enough to keep our cupboards from looking like Old Mother Hubbard’s. It has been a while since we stocked up our fridge and freezer.
Back at the apartment we quickly got everything put away especially the frozen foods we’d picked up. The temperature outside this afternoon made it to 86F (30C) but with the Heat Index it felt like 100F (38C).
Tonight and tomorrow’s weather forecast is for severe thunderstorms and rain. That’s the same forecast that we had for yesterday, last night and all day today. If the rain keeps going around us the way it has been lately we could be in for a dry summer but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

Sounds like a nice day! I love the burrito supreme from Taco Bell...one of my favorites.
