Something is very wrong around here! We both had a decent night of sleep and it was on the same night during the same hours. We were both awake shortly after 8:00 this morning to top it off and we didn’t feel like falling face down asleep in our breakfast either. Maybe it was the heavy rain showers that we heard throughout the night that lulled us to sleep but let the sun wake us and kept the temperatures high throughout the day.
After having breakfast we were sitting at our computers reading E-mails and blogs before 9:00. Kathy started doing more research for RV parks in Florida for the last two weeks of March for next year. After having found what she thought would be an ideal park for us to stay at while we slowly work our way north she hit a road block. When she called the park on the phone they insisted that she send them a cheque from an American bank or FAX a photocopy of our charge card with our signatures attached. Her response was they must not want our business too bad with an attitude like that. She’ll just find another park that will take our reservations over the phone.
When I had finished my blog reading I once again started cleaning STUFF from my Desk Top Computer hard drive. I am being very selective of what I delete from picture files. My criteria are duplicates, out of focused pictures, multiple pictures of a posed item (only keeping the one used) and getting rid of pictures of food pictures that we take during our travels. As of today since I have started this process I have cleaned out over thirty gigabytes off my hard drive.
After finishing our supper dishes we headed out to Amherstburg to visit our son Kevin. The wind nearly blew us over in the parking lot but soon that was the least of our problems as we soon started getting hit by near torrential waves of rain. Between the rain cells the sun was attempting to break through the clouds only to be dashed by the next wave of rain. This happened all the way out to Amherstburg and then the sun came out for the rest of the evening.
Since Kevin was pretty sick last week we had two weeks of catching up to do. The conversations never stopped for the two hours we were there which included a lot of laughs thrown in for good measure. The experts say laughter is the best medicine and it surely helps us all keep our sanity.
On the way home the only visible signs of the rain that had passed earlier in the evening were a few standing water puddles left by the side of the road. Tonight’s weather forecast is for more rain but lately who can really tell. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

Good to read you have a good night's sleep. Makes a world of difference in the morning.
ReplyDeleteGlad you were able to visit with Kevin. So nice to get together with family.
Laughter might well be the very best medicine. We all could use a lot more of it, and it's free and legal, too. A bit addicting though.
