Little Things.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

After experiencing a restless night of sleep and having a fairly active day yesterday when my head hit the pillow last night I had no trouble at all sleeping. We both managed to sleep until nearly 8:00 this morning which was perfect if we had any visitors. Watching the Weather Channel we were happy to see the temperature cooling down to a moderate level of comfort but they were still forecasting rain for this afternoon.

With breakfast finished we sat to do our morning reading at the computers. I wrote down the particulars about the racing bike that I’m selling so that Kathy could post it on Kijiji. We still have our bicycles mounted on the trailer so if we want to go riding we’ll just go to the storage yard and pick them up. Storing Kathy’s E-Bike and my Racing Bike on the balcony just was not practical.

The next thing I did was to sand down the drawer we made for the trailer yesterday but since it was supposed to rain I chose to hold off on staining it. I did want to drill the holes for the drawer pulls on both the drawer and the breadbox and mount the hardware to them. Unfortunately the hinges for the breadbox are too large and the drawer glides came with no screws. As I was about to go out to the truck to check what kind of fasteners I had the skies opened up giving us our afternoon rain in the morning.

Back in the office Kathy and I were both busy for a while researching places that we could go on our way home from Florida next April and we even had the date of our return figured out. After lunch Dan the building handyman showed up to repair a kitchen drawer that the face had fallen off of. Even though he did a good job Kathy looked at the drawer that I had just made and said she liked my work better.

By supper time Kathy already gotten a response about the racing bike now we just have to wait for the person to call. Tomorrow the weather is supposed to be beautiful and we have plans to attend a local Seniors Expo and it’s free. That should make for an interesting day. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Before I forget to ask, have you ever tried a white noise sleep machine? http://tinyurl.com/pu3ew46 I bought one for Jack (yes, I said Jack) when he seemed to be wrestles at night after his surgery. Worked like a charm. My granddaughter had a problem sleeping because of the shifts she works as a nurse. I gave it to her and she doesn't go to bed without it.

Good luck selling your bike. enjoy your day at the Expo, tomorrow.

  2. That sure is a lot of planning. We don't know where we will be in two weeks, next winter? No idea, just kinda go wherever the roads take us and its warm.
