Even though I spent time in my Recliner last night when the Alarm went off this morning it was all hands-on deck. Besides Kathy checking her Blood Sugar Level and us having breakfast, I barely had time to check The Weather Network. We made certain to bundle up before going out the door.
We had a 10:00 appointment with our Family Doctor and managed to walk in the Office with an entire minute to spare. We went into the only empty Examination Room to wait our turn. George walked in at 10:15, asking us both how we were doing and trying to figure out a remedy for it all. Kathy surprised us when her BP was 120/70, while mine that is normally lower, was 122/69. George was also happy with Kathy’s lower Blood Sugar Readings. We left with more appointments on our plate.
Since it was only 10:30 we headed straight to Clear Imaging. Seven different X-rays were taken of my Neck. Thirty-Two Years after my injury at work it seems to be worsening. It was past 11:00 when we headed out to a slick sidewalk, making it tricky to get to the Car safely.
A quick stop at Health First Pharmacy around 11:20, I only managed to drop off the new Prescription for Kathy. It would take a Half Hour because of others waiting their turns, so I simply said we’d be back.
We stopped at Wendy’s for Chicken Wraps for lunch. We even shared a Loaded Nacho as a side.
It was only 1:00 so instead of sitting all afternoon at home we stopped to do some Walmart walking. Kathy was looking for a warmer Top to wear through these colder days.
Kathy’s Prescription was ready and there was No Charge. Back at our building Kathy insisted on walking with me after parking the Car. What she did not expect was an even Colder Northeast Wind, blowing in our faces as we went to the Rear Entrance.
We missed out on some excitement this morning as somebody claimed to have gotten stuck in Two of the Elevators. The first one while going down, then after being rescued, was returning to their apartment in the second elevator when it stopped. I hope they didn’t bother to buy a Lottery Ticket.
The other appointment our Family Doctor wanted was another Blood Test for Kathy. I was able to successfully make the appointment On-Line for the end of the month, which will happen the same time as her By-Monthly Blood Test for her Rheumatologist.
Supper was Sauteed Zucchini, Potato Slices and Spareribs, with Carbonated Juice as a refreshment. Of course, the 6 o’clock Local News was on, so we topped our meal off with a dish of Chocolate Frozen Yogurt.
For entertainment this evening we watched Three Episodes of “Will Trent”. Not quite sure if we’ll watch it again. Too much back and forth.

Teacher: “What is the chemical formula for water?”
Student: “HIJKLMNO.”
Teacher: “What are you talking about?”
Student: “Yesterday you said it’s H to O!”
It'd be scary getting stuck in an elevator, not once but twice on the same day! WOW. Glad to hear Kathy's blood sugar levels are down and both your blood pressures are good! :)
