Cleaned Up and It Doesn’t Suck.

This is starting to bother not only myself, but Kathy as well, because when we go to bed together and she suddenly senses my absence, she is laying there basically Semiconscious. During the time I spend in my recliner, she is not properly resting.

I’d barely started getting things ready for a lite breakfast when Kathy came out to join me. A Muffin and Yogurt Cup would hold us over until lunch, so we took our Teas to the Computers.

Kathy had talked about putting our Christmas Tree and Decorations the other day, but as soon as she’d finished her Tea this morning, she was focused on accomplishing the task. We both have our chores when it comes to the Decorations as well as doing our Tree. Once she had removed all the Ornaments, it was my turn to disassemble the Tree. Since we live in a small Apartment, we are limited to the size of Tree, and since we try to protect the environment, we use an Artificial Tree that is slender but tall (Pencil Tree). Everything was packed away and stored before noon.

We enjoyed Split Pea with Ham Soup for lunch, with another Yogurt Cup and Orange for dessert.

Though the Tree and Decorations were out of sight for another Year, Sparkles were all over the Livingroom. Pulling out our big Upright Vacuum, Kathy tried to clean the Carpet but was seeing more things flying across the room than being sucked up. I spent nearly an Hour cleaning the clogged Filters. Somehow the canister would not properly latch when it was reinstalled. I tried numerous things, but it just would not do what it was supposed to. I’ll try looking it up On-Line tomorrow.

We watched some of the Memorial Services in Georgia for Jimmy Carter this afternoon. It was very Community Based. His funeral in Washington will take place next week.

Later we watched another episode of “Elsbeth” then “48 Hours”. One was fiction while the other is based on an actual case.
