After another up and down night, it wasn’t long after having breakfast this morning that I was busy. It was unbelievable the way the Sun was shining in through the Blinds. With the threat of Flurries starting early this afternoon we had to do what we had Planned on doing yesterday, since we did today’s chores yesterday.
While Kathy was checking things on her Computer, I was sorting and treating Three Weeks of laundry. Life gets in the way sometimes, but fortunately we have enough clothes to wear through those periods. Of course, that would also mean more loads to wash and dry.
Down at the Second Floor Laundry Room others had gotten there before us, so we needed to use the machines on the back row. That meant starting with only Three Washers.
Like everything else the price per machine also increased as of the 1st of the Year.
We took a short break until it was time to change things from the Washers to the Dryers. Luckily, Dryers became available, but the fact that they hold Two Washer Loads easily, it worked out. We also managed to start another Three Wash Loads.
This was where out timing was critical. When we returned to the Apartment, I immediately turned on the Oven and loaded a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza for us to share. That gave us more time to do our On-Line reading before we again headed back to the Laundry Room.
Since the Dryers work well, we were able to take what was in Two out and transfer clothes from the Washers before they timed out. Then I simply added and extra Three Quarters to each one to dry a second load instead of paying the price for a full cycle. While the last loads were drying, we had time to fold everything else. Total cost today was $20.25 instead of $30.00.
Kathy has been helping since just before my Surgery, but these long laundry days wear her out. We took a short break before putting things back in the drawers. We had a snack, and since Kathy was still reading, she suddenly realized I was missing and came to see what I was doing as I lay the last pillow down, after making the bed.
It
was only 2:00
when we looked outside to see large Flakes
flying by our windows. By 4:30
everything was White
and there were no Tiretracks
visible in the parking lot or the road behind the building.
We enjoyed open faced Manwich Sandwiches for supper.
The Weather Guesser on the 6 o’clock Local News showed sunny morning pictures along with early evening pictures. Quite the difference. At least our area should get the lowest accumulation in Southern Ontario.
We later watched a Clint Eastwood movie titled “The Mule”.

Scientists got bored watching the Earth turn, so after 24 hours, they called it a day.
