Two Lists.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It was hard to believe that I only woke a few times throughout the night. I used the same mixture for my Nighttime Mickey as before and it worked. Maybe I just need to leave it build in my system. Kathy does not take anything to sleep, so when I sleep well, so does she. This morning she did some catching up for the past few days.

Breakfast was a simple Toast, before taking our Coffees to the Computers. After filling in some paperwork and checking the Fridge, we left with Two Lists, one for where we were going and the other for what we needed.

All the White Stuff that came down yesterday was all gone. Since it would be a busy afternoon we stopped at Arby’s for lunch. Using a Coupon we saved on the cost.

We walked over to the Credit Union to do our banking. When we came out, traffic was stopped. Someone tried running across the road and only made it part way. A crowd was around a young man that was holding his Knee on the ground. With that many people there, we headed up the side street so as not get tied up.

Our next stop was Guardian Storage where Kathy retrieved our Mail, before we continued to Princess Auto. I’ve mentioned before that I watch their Sales and keep a supply of Electrical Fittings on hand for when we travel. Adding some Anchors to the list will also help some upcoming projects.

Not wanting to get tied up in the earlier accident, we took the Airport Road out to Tecumseh. The Accountant we’ve been using for years, has decided to call it quits, so they recommended another to do the job. Luckily they have a parking lot, so it was easy for Kathy to walk the papers in, that consented to having our records transferred.

Now we headed back in the direction of where we had started. There was a Two Vehicle Collision stopping east bound traffic while the Police were clearing it up. When we got back near the Credit Union, everything was clear.

We made fast work of getting what we needed at Dollarama and the Zehr’s grocery store so as to beat Rush Hour Traffic.

Even though I limited my walking, my Hip/Leg Pain was telling me to sit down. It was after the 6 o’clock Local News before we shared a Medium Store-Bought Thin-Crust Spinach Pizza for supper.

We might be seeing the Sun starting on Friday.

Words of Inspiration

I am a slow walker, but I never walk back.

  1. A walker might be a simple short term solution for the pain and the need to sit while out and about. They fold, have a seat, brakes, etc and you will need to use one after hip surgery anyway I think.
