Errands and Comments.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

Kathy had a very restless night, because she was laying next to someone that kept on Tossing and Turning. It wasn’t all caused by the Hip/Leg Pain, my mind just would not shut down. After getting up at 2:30 to take an Extra Strength Tylenol, it would be past 3:00 before I finally fell to sleep.

It was after 8:00 when we both got up. It was as if we were moving in slow motion, though we did have an idea of what we needed to accomplish today. We spent some time on our Computers, because I was hoping a package would be delivered today, but according to the Tracker, the only thing that had happened was the Label had been printed.

What we did not do was to have Breakfast, so we were out the door shortly after 10:00 and the first place we stopped at was a nearby Tim Horton’s. We both enjoyed one of their Farmer’s Wraps Combo that included a Coffee and Donut. We weren’t to worried about the Calories, figuring we would not have Lunch and we had some walking to do, so we’d burn it off. This was a new location for us, so it also gave us time to “People Watch”.

Next, we returned to my Storage Unit at Guardian Storage to retrieve something else I had forgotten, that could Freeze. On the way out we also picked up our first Mail delivery of the year.

Running all these errands, gave us more together time, where we talked about different things happening not only to us, but around the world.

We had to stop at Motor City Community Credit Union to activate their new Bank Cards. Very different but understandable as a way of securing our accounts.

Lastly we stopped at Zehr’s grocery store to pick up some Produce.

Before heading home we kept thinking there was something we needed at Dollarama, but could not remember. We barely stepped foot in the Apartment when we started saying what we needed. Guess we’ll have to start making Lists again.

After the 6 o’clock Local News we had Lasagna for supper. I was also surprise that I was actually able to leave a number of Blog Comments under Anonymous, for the first time in months.

Last Thursday when Sorough spoke to me on the phone, he was worried about doing the job. I assured him, like I had many times on the Plant floor, “You got this”. Since I did not hear from him today, I must have been right.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

My neighbour called and said, “I just fell off a 30-foot ladder!”

I asked, “Are you okay?”

He said, “Yes! I was just on the second rung!”
