Checking Kathy Out and That’s A Compliment.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

It was not the day for Kathy to have me disturbing her sleep, but it was the Hip/Leg Pain that was the cause.

After keeping up to date on our Blog Reading and other forms of communication, we got ready for Kathy’s appointment.

When we arrived at Windsor Heart Clinic it wasn’t long before she was taken in to have her Vitals taken. Her Blood Pressure was way up there, so after explaining her Poor Sleep, they waited and did it again. Down but still on the high side. Another Hour passed before actually seeing the Cardiologist. He was happy the Ablation had worked as expected, cautious about the Blood Pressure and curious when asked if Kathy’s Medications could be having a certain Side Effect on her. After a Minute of reading her Blood Results and double checking her Medications, he came up with a possible answer. It fit the Time-Line it had started, but now she needs to see another Specialist in order to confirm the finding. If that is the problem, she’ll be taking less Medication in the future. Before we left, Kathy had an ECG.

We stopped at The Shoe Company, after receiving a call that Kathy’s Sketchers Slip-On Shoes we ordered last Friday had arrived. When she tried them on, they were far from Slip-On, they were more like Squeeze On. After trying a different style for sizing only, her New Shoes will be here soon.

It was past 5:00 so we made the mistake of going to Burger King on Whopper Wednesday. Surprisingly it did not take long before we were enjoying our meal.

We walked in on time to watch the 6 o’clock Local News. Other than hearing the Oil Prices went up again, nothing really shocked us.

I had read more Blogs and was just getting ready to write our’s when Sorough called. He just needed to know some things he had done on the PTA were correct. Then he told me about cleaning another mess that the So-Called Expert/Consultant had made on a Feedscrew and Mile’s reaction when he (Sorough) fixed it. When Mile asked how he did it, he simply said “Richard showed me how”.

After getting off the phone, I noticed a couple of Texts from Sorough, that I had not seen before. He explained that I was always in the back of his head, telling him how to do the job. Even situations with friends away from work, he keeps asking himself “What would Rick do”?

When I started mentoring Sorough back in October, he was going to show the world by physically challenging everyone’s opinion, but did not have any direction. Now he’s calmed down, thinking things through and even passing on my advice to his friends. That’s a Compliment that I did my job right.

Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment, unless it personally attacks someone for their opinion, or is Spam.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Too funny ... "What would Rick do?" Imitation is the greatest form of flattery .. you certainly made an impression.

  2. Nice to be needed until it becomes a nuisance. Take the flattery for now. 😊
