Being able to sleep at night without being constantly awaken by Pain, is something I could get used to doing. For the second night in a row I had more sleep than the previous week combined. Kathy slept a tad better, but would later tell me that I had been moaning throughout the night.
At work first thing this morning, I was assigned a “Government Job”, which for those unfamiliar with the term, is a personal project for someone, done along with your necessary work. The kicker was that it was for Mile’s Barbecue. I had to reshape a piece of reclaimed Stainless Steel, straightening, then bending the edges with a Hammer and Pliers. It was the perfect Height and Width, but it could not be finished because he forgot to measure the Length. Maybe tomorrow.
I also welded Lugs on Three Feedscrews so they could have the Keyways machined today and helped to bring in Eight pieces of material that will become Feedscrews in the future.
Traffic was terrible after work and the School Buses don’t start until next week. I still managed to get to Wyandotte Chiropractic Center on time for my appointment. Even though I used my Cane going in, I simply walked back to the Truck after Richard was finished getting me back into shape.
We waited until the 6 o’clock Local News was on, before sharing a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Hawaiian Pizza for supper. They again focused on the damage in Florida caused by Hurricane Idalia.
So looking forward to the upcoming Long Weekend.
