Well Rested and Things Changed.

Our Location today is at Windsor, Ontario.

It was truly amazing that after struggling to sleep for a number of nights in a row something as easy as taking a Tylenol would do the trick. I only looked at the Clock twice and the second time was when I started my day. Other then getting things ready for breakfast I had barely started checking what our weather would be for the day when Kathy joined me after having an equally restful night.

As we watched the temperature slowly climbing back to the Freezing Mark this morning we decided what we’d have for lunch. The choice was Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Mixed Berry topped Yogurt.

The other day I mentioned that our area will be experiencing Fifty MPH Winds on Sunday and that I had forgotten a couple of minor Electrical Issues on the Trailer that needed to be resolved before putting everything back in the basement.

We arrived at Guardian Storage and went straight to the Trailer. We were both surprised to see the Semi Trailer that had been parked next to us for a Year suddenly gone and fresh Gravel had been graded. Kathy wanted to do a few more things inside while I worked below but another problem came up. The Fifteen MPH Breeze had suddenly increased to Thirty MPH Wind that chilled us to the bone. I’ve worked for many years in the cold but could not see us doing that today.

We made a quick stop at Canadian Tire but when we saw the long line outside Kathy stayed in the Truck while I took care of business.

I like the message.

We were back at the Apartment by 2:30 working on chores until the 6 o’clock Local News came on. The big issue was the rising number of Coronavirus Cases as we are being hit by the Second Wave causing some areas of Ontario returning to what was once called Phase 2. That means that Restaurants in those areas are not allowed to have dine-in customers until their Cases are greatly reduced. The last thing they warned us about was the Fifty MPH Wind Gusts that could cause Flooding along low lying shorelines.

Supper turned out to be a Medium Store Bought Thin Crust Pizza. Not sure what we’ll be doing tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

  1. Those winds don't sound like much fun to me, but maybe it will raise the temperature a bit??

  3. We are also experiencing increase numbers. The lower mainland and the Fraser Valley have been put on increased restrictions. P:lus they are asking people to got leave their area and for others in the province to please not visit. Coin has helicopter aerial photography to do for the City of Vancouver and the company will not let him fly as we are from Kelowna, a different region.
