We were both up by 8:00 this morning but
that didn’t matter too much because it was already Raining. We spent very little time on the Computers because we couldn’t get On-Line. This is really sounding like a broken record but we are
doing what we can to improve our Connection.
Kathy still had another pile of Receipts that she had to file for next
year’s Tax Returns which helped to
clean up her books.
Since leaving Quartzsite in the middle of March
we have survived by running our Fridge,
Cooking and Heating all on Propane.
We kept warm while emptying the Trailer with
the Blue Flame Heater. Still used to
being “Off the Grid” even for
breakfast we used the Water Kettle
on the Stove. It wasn’t until we
returned to the
Park for the May 24 Weekend that the Fridge
went on AC. Around 10:00 this
morning the Park
lost Power which had us remember to
set the Fridge on AU (Automatic) so when we are not Home
if we lose Power we won’t lose any
of our Food. It also reminded me to
check our Propane Tanks.
Luckily the Rain stopped long enough that I was able to replace the Empty Tank with our Spare. I even had a chance to work on
our Signs under the Gazebo until the Rain was being blown by the Wind.
More leftovers were cleaned out of the Fridge for lunch and once the dishes
were cleaned we went back to working on Files
on the Computers and even playing a
few Games.
Just sitting around because it was still Raining was starting to get to us. I
couldn’t even use the Weber because
of the Wind-Blown Rain. By 4:30 we drove
up to the 19th
Hole Restaurant where we had a Half Serving of Perch for supper. It
smelled so good and even though there wasn’t very much we ate the whole thing.
The problem with that is with our Reduced
Intake our stomachs were hurting. Don’t know if we’ll be eating breakfast
tomorrow.
Back Home with the Rain still coming down we relaxed to watch another Walmart
movie we picked up in Parker Arizona at give away prices. Thanks
for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

Q: What is
copper nitrate?
A: Overtime
for policeman.
Been so long since we've seen rain that I'm not sure I would know what to do in it.
ReplyDeleteI'm stop glad we don't have to collect receipts any more. It is really freeing. On that theme, have you ever considered monetising your blog? I have a few more hits than you and every now and then wonder if I should. On a separate note do you use a iPad for blogging?
