I cheated
again this morning by waiting until after hearing the Front Door close at 8:30 before getting out of bed. I had the
chance to check The Weather Network on-line before Kathy started to stir
around 9:00 this morning. With the cold temperatures we experienced while we were
emptying the Trailer it seems to
have left a lingering effect on the both of us.
After
relaxing with a leisurely breakfast then checking E-mails, News and Blogs I decided to check on the Trailer. When I called Leisure Trailer to see if Nicole was able to find the Work-Order for the shipment J.T. answered having just returned
after attending the RV Show in Toronto. The last time I had spoke to him last fall he was adamant that
we had to have the Trailer to them
on April 10 so that it would be on
its way back to the Jayco Factory the same day where it was slated for Monday April 16th up to May 10th
if necessary to make everything right. As
I was speaking to him this morning he said he was still waiting for Jayco’s Transporter to
pick the trailer up. To say I was not a Happy
Camper would be an understatement.
After
sharing a Roast Beef Sandwich for
lunch, we were soon on our way back to Walmart. Kathy needed some Toothpaste and we picked up another Organizer like we did yesterday. We
also used the store as an indoor walking track so we could get some walking in.
We then
drove across the street to Dollarama for a few other supplies that
we can get at a more reasonable price before heading back to Karen’s in Tecumseh.
It
took hardly any time to assemble the new Organizer
and with its design it was very easy to stack the two units together.
After
packing up my Laptop we headed out
the door round 4:00. When we are Home
nearly every Wednesday evening we always visit with our son Kevin and
daughter-in-law Melissa but we were too early. We drove up Manning Road and basically took the route we would if we were driving back to Wildwood Golf and RV Park. We didn’t go in the gate today but
will be going out to check on our site before the end of the month.
As we
were driving by my Cell Phone
started ringing so I simply handed it to Kathy. J.T. from Leisure Trailers was calling to inform us that Jayco was dragging their feet on
sending the Shipping Documents and
the Trailer probably won’t leave
their yard until next Monday. I didn’t want to discuss it until I wasn’t
driving but I might be making another Phone
Call or Two in the morning. We stopped at the Amherstburg
McDonalds and had their Sweet Chili Wraps for supper. We discussed
what J.T. had said but I’ll still be calling or seeing him in the morning.
We were
still early so we stopped at the local Canadian Tire store and looked at some of the spring
items they had out for Gardeners.
We
arrived at Kevin and Melissa’s at 5:45. Setting up my Laptop I showed Kevin pictures to give him ideas for an upcoming wedding
they’ll be attending. I then had Melissa looking at the Pictures I still have of this winter’s trip. Once I post them on a Blog I delete them from my file.
Knowing that Melissa enjoyed the Sunset
and Mountain pictures I brought a Memory Stick so she could copy the
pictures she likes to her Computer.
Since it has been Five Months since
our last visit we stretched our time just a bit.
Our
trip back to Tecumseh only took 35 Minutes because we had all
Green Traffic Lights. We have a few things that
we’ll be working on tomorrow. Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and
Enjoy!
It’s about time.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice visit with family. Enjoy being in a stix 'n brix for the next while, as spring has decided to take the long route this year.
I hope this isn't a precursor as to what is to come with your repair job.
ReplyDeleteHurry up and wait ... isn't that always the case? I sure hope they get with the program soon!!
ReplyDeleteSeems like repair jobs rarely follow the timeline that repair places promise beforehand. Hope you aren't going to be out of your place for a long time!
ReplyDeleteWell that just stinks but it seems to be the way things are done these days. Hope you get things moving with Jayco
