With this being Sunday most of the family was home and sleeping in upstairs. When Karen tried tip-toing into the Laundry Room at 9:05 on the other side of our Privacy Screen she was surprised when I bade her a Good Morning. She hadn’t seen the glow from my Laptop as she was being careful not to wake us.
We loved looking at the mountains in Quartzsite.
It was closer to 9:30 when the kids seemed to wake up and a sound on the main floor soon erupted closer to that of a herd of elephants. They were all having a good time and that was the loudest they had been since our arrival but it was enough to wake Kathy.

We had a chance to talk with Karen while we had breakfast and enjoyed our Coffees. There were plans made for later in the day and we learned of her appointment back in London for tomorrow.

Back downstairs we spent the rest of the morning on our Computers getting caught up reading the Blogs we follow, our E-mails as well as making plans for things we will be doing through the week.
We haven't had a Campfire sine we got back.
With the temperature reaching 59 F (15 C) this afternoon Karen decided she wanted to air out the house so after shutting the Thermostat she opened a number of windows. The open windows served a dual purpose because she was busy cooking a few things up for supper.
We miss being off the grid.
At 4:30 Greg’s parents Ray and Rose arrived and while Kathy and I had the chance to catch up with them the rest of the family created the rest of the meal. The Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Chicken and Vegetables were all done perfectly. Conversation flowed the entire meal which in some instances erupted into a round of laughter. Karen topped the meal with a Bunt Cake.

We had the chance to continue our visit with them while Karen attempted to download a Word Game on Kathy’s Cell Phone but it just wouldn’t take so the next thing I knew it was being added to my Cell Phone. This will help Kathy whenever she needs to exercise her brain which she does all the time now but I think we’ll be upgrading Kathy’s Phone soon. It was around 7:30 when Ray and Rose left and we are hoping to see them again before we get back into our Trailer.
Dome Rock in the distance.
Kathy has an Appointment in the morning so I’ll wrap up a few other things before we head out. Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Oh, I like roast beef. That's what we had a couple of days ago.

  2. I'm more careful about apps than I used to be. Got one I didn't like and couldn't delete it. It took some thinking but I finally got it out of my phone. It was a brain game ... maybe that was the "brain" part ... how to get rid of it! LOL
