This
morning started with a different twist because I had to set the alarm for 8:00
to drive Tyler to his Co-op Training Shop. Greg had started work at
2:30 this morning, Karen had to go to London and Kylla had been away
overnight. I was back to Karen’s by 9:00.
Going
downstairs I immediately turned the lights on as a way to wake Kathy. It took a
few seconds longer giving me the chance to bring up The Weather
Network on my Computer which showed we were finally going to have a wonderful
spring day.
Upstairs
as soon as we finished our breakfast we worked together to empty the Dishwasher and to add our dirty dishes
in their place. Kathy had an appointment this morning so we needed the Sink to be empty.
Just
before 11:00 I brought Sanford downstairs with me and closed the door which
turned out to be a mistake. Suddenly he was up the stairs growling and barking
at the door because he heard a strange voice in the house. Getting a firm grip
on his collar I brought him to the main floor. Who he spotted was Mary from Healthy Heals here to work on Kathy’s feet. As soon as Sanford realized that Mary was
friendly his tail was wagging away and everything was good. We didn’t want
Sanford to be giving Mary’s arm a nudge at the wrong time so I again brought
him downstairs but since he had seen who was there picked up his Blanky and made himself comfortable.
We had
Chicken Noodle Soup along with a Cheese Stick for lunch and were soon on
our way out the door afterwards. Our first stop was Guardian
Storage to check our Mail and to pick up an extra Padlock we had before heading to McGregor.
If
you recall reading some time back that by not attaching the smaller sets of Keys I carry onto one large Ring, I have twice lost sets of Keys without noticing until much later that
they were gone. Having gathered all the extra Keys from inside the Trailer
we were able to find the mates to Two
more of the Missing Keys including for
our Garden Shed at Wildwood Golf and RV Park. When the new Keys are made they will be joined by a common ring.
Once
we knew we could get our supplies inside the shed we headed over to our son
Kevin’s house in Amherstburg to pick up the Power Washer. We plan to clean our
Patio and repaint it before the Trailer
is back. We had a chance to visit with Kevin for a short while before heading
off.
We
drove to Home Depot to pick up the Cement Paint for the Patio.
Unlike Saturday it was a different associate at the Paint Desk and he recommended a different Paint. This one will be a slightly different tone, is easier to
apply but cost more.
We
needed a few groceries so we went to the Zehrs Super
Store on Walker Road to pick them up. Kathy noticed that they had Readymade Meals by the Deli
Counter so we picked one up. Back at Karen’s after we had everything else
put away it only took a few minutes in the Microwave
and we were sharing our Chicken Parmigiana.
Like other Single Serving Foods that
we’ve brought home in the past, it was more then enough to feed the both of us
and we were well satisfied.
On
the 6 o’clock Local News they showed
Windsor reached 72 F (22 C) today but we’ll
dropping back to below seasonal temperatures for the next couple of days. It
would be nice if Spring was here to stay. Thanks for following along, feel free to
leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

You and Kathy are always so busy. I bet you will be happy to get your home back soon even though you seem to have a set up at Karen's place.
ReplyDeleteSanford sure is a cutie pie!!! 72 degrees ... spring has sprung!! Hoping it stays that way ... mostly!!
ReplyDeleteYou're sure having busy days! Wish I had your energy! Nice that you can help Karen out by helping with Tyler..good grandparents :))
ReplyDeleteI bet Sanford is the most happy that you are around. He looks like he needs a lot of cuddling and attention. Of course the family appreciates too that you are around to help out with taxi service and assistance in the kitchen. They will be so sad when you return to your camper.
