New Tires, Sparkling Trailer Delivered To The Dealership and Time To Relax.

Our Location today is at Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

We don’t understand what is happening since we are going to bed between 11:00 & 12:00 yet we’re waking shortly after 8:00 with limited Sunlight to rouse us. It was 8:10 by the time I checked The Weather Network and cringed at the temperatures I was seeing for the day. We had breakfast and were out the door shortly after 9:00.
Heading towards Amherstburg on Walker Road.
Our first stop of the day was Benson Tires on Howard Avenue to get the new tires installed on the Truck. Adam had the tires but suggested that we go to the Restaurant for a Coffee claiming it would be more comfortable then the chairs in his waiting room. He was right, the booths were more comfortable and the Coffees helped warm us up after the walk in 27 F (-3 C) temperatures. We barely spent a Half Hour before heading back to find the Truck ready to go.

We were back at Guardian Storage by 11:00 and after remounting the Spare Tire where it belonged I prepped the Truck for towing then hooked up to the Trailer. Last year we didn’t get a chance to wash our Trailer before we headed back to the southwest and this was a very dusty winter. Our plan was to tow the Trailer out to our son Kevin’s house in Amherstburg where it could be washed.

Arriving shortly after 12:00 Kevin already had the Hose pulled out and the Power Washer sitting by the garage. Our Avalanche used to barely fit in their driveway but with our Jayco being Two and a Half Feet Longer I just parked along the curb with the Four-Way Flashers on. We had a problem with Ice partially plugging the Hose but once it cleared I started making progress. It was 37 F (3 C) but by wearing my Rain Suit I was sweating.

Since she couldn’t help due to the way cold weather affects her Diabetic Neuropathy Kathy stayed inside and monitored my progress through the front window. As I washed the Curbside of the Trailer and you could see the difference as the brown water flowed down the sides. Since the Hose was at its end I then had to drive around the block to park the Roadside of the Trailer along the curb. Even in the cold the Trailer was sparkling. By the time we closed up and said our goodbyes to Kevin it was 2:30.
Washing the Curbside.
As we were driving towards La Salle we notice a haziness to the air. We were suddenly engulfed in a small Snow Squall. We had to slow down but other traffic just kept driving by raising all kinds of Road Spray. Driving by Car Dealerships most of their vehicles were covered with the White Stuff. As soon as we left the Town Limits the Snow was gone and the roads were dry.

Rather then returning the Trailer to the Storage Yard and delivering it to the Dealership in the morning we arrived at Leisure Trailer in Lakeshore at 3:15 to drop it off today. Both J.T. and Stephanie were away at an RV Show in Toronto but with the Printout and Collage that I printed last night it was easy for Nicole to understand what the problems were. The bottom half of the Trailer was once again dirty but the top was still sparkling.
Washing the Roadside.
Our next stop was Wendy’s in Tecumseh to have Lupper. That’s right I didn’t stop washing the Trailer so now we were having lunch and supper combined. We both ordered one of their full-sized Salads and found it more then filling enough. Our stomachs must be shrinking.

We arrived at Karen’s shortly after 5:00 and just needed to relax. We even watched the 6 o’clock Local News, something we haven’t done in quite some time.
Heading into snow in LaSalle on Highway 18.
We get to relax and do more organizing to our Temporary Bedroom tomorrow morning before taking care of some errands in the afternoon. Thanks for following along, feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
