Keeping The Books and Grilling A Meal.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

We survived last night’s near freezing temperature without even having the heat on and when we woke this morning the Sun was shining between the lines of clouds quickly moving across the sky. We enjoyed our breakfast and managed to get all our morning reading done before we settled into chores we both needed to get done.
While Kathy occupied our dining table getting receipts organized I made the bed and got the printer set up so that she would be able to printout our Bank and Credit Card Statements. That would allow her the chance to verify our purchases before she would enter them on our Expenditure Spreadsheet.

We worked together making a light lunch of Soup and Crackers with Cheese as well as a Coffee to warm us up. As we enjoyed our meal we watched the sky become totally filled with clouds and the Wind increase.

With lunch over Kathy started doing her bookkeeping on the Computer while I took over the dining table. My chore was to fill our Pill Doucettes. Not having picked up our latest prescriptions from our Pharmacy yet I only managed to get them set up for the next sixteen days but at least it won’t be on a Saturday the next time that I do this again. I also took stock of every pill and vitamin that we have in our possession by counting them and then entering those numbers on another spreadsheet that I created. This allows us to slowly start purchasing our vitamins that we will bring with us when we travel. The way the Spreadsheet works it tells me exactly how many bottles of each vitamin will be required to fill our needs until we return in the spring. Now each time any pills or vitamins come into our Home they will be added to the Spreadsheet making keeping track of them so much easier.
This was yesterday's picture of the rain gauge.
It did read three inches by this afternoon.
For this area that is a lot.
We did have more rain overnight and even a passing drizzle this afternoon that wet our patio. The North Wind however made today’s 57 F (14 C) temperature feel much cooler.

Wanting a Home Cooked Meal this evening even in the blowing wind we turned on the Weber and had Baked Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus and Grilled Pork Chops for our supper along with some mini tarts and grapes for dessert.

We are supposed to see the Sun for the next five days but with below freezing temps for the next few nights to balance it off. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
