Fixing A Glitch, More Researching, Trying A New Restaurant and Visiting Family.

Our Location today is McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

It was warm enough for us to sleep without our heavy Bedcover last night and we still didn’t need any heat until we got out of bed this morning. While having breakfast Kathy said she’d had trouble falling asleep. A while later as we were about to take our morning pills I noticed that we hadn’t taken our evening pills for the last couple of days. We’ll have to be certain to take them tonight so we can both rest easier. Even with the slightly warmer temperature overnight our local temps would not reach the 50 F (10 C) until after lunch due to a moderate cloud cover settling in early in the morning.
Already dreaming of being back in the desert.
Great way to start the morning.
While doing our morning reading on the Computers we noticed that our new Countdown Counter had a Glitch and was not working accurately. We had set it for a late morning departure on the first of November just in case we were delayed but the Counter was insistent on a 7:00 AM departure. I attempted to change the script with no success so I simply went back to create another Counter to correct the problem and reload it. Even with the correction each time I reloaded the same thing happened as the original with the incorrect time. Making one last attempt to create a new counter I started backwards doing the last steps first and the first steps last. Bingo it uploaded with no further problems and we are hoping it stays that way.

Kathy also spent the morning doing more Research for our trip to the Southwest this fall. This time she is only planning our route and finding things for us to see and do along the way which gives us much more Flexibility. We will also try to avoid unfavourable weather so we will continue to monitor the weather forecasts as the time nears. Also we’ll keep our travel days shorter as we don’t want to wear ourselves out with long travel days.
Light lunch today.
After having a light lunch of Vegetable Soup with Crackers and Cheese we discussed what we need to accomplish before our Southwestern trip begins that way there will be more time spent exploring and enjoying ourselves than always working on the trailer. We then took the time to wash the dishes before getting back to the Computers.

We took the time to relax a bit later with Kathy doing a little reading while I worked out a couple of numerical puzzles. Later in the afternoon I called to verify that Kathy’s prescription was ready for pick up only to find out the Doctor’s office had not okayed it yet. I was told the pharmacy would resubmit it and hopefully we’d be able to pick it up when we are in town this evening.
North of Parker, Arizona on Highway 95.
We left earlier than normal so we could stop at Sun Parlour Trailers to pick up a couple of tubes of Dicor Self Leveling Sealant I’ll need it while fixing things on the roof. From there we went to Pharma Care in Amherstburg to pick up Kathy’s Antihistamine Spray but the Doctor’s Office still hasn’t responded. They’ll call us tomorrow when it is ready.

Our next stop was at Golden Gate Chinese Restaurant for supper. It’s a new restaurant that our friends Gerry and Sandy told us about the other day. It wasn’t bad but not our favourite Chinese Food outlet.

We then headed over to our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa’s for our weekly visit. As usual the conversation never stops and it had plenty of laughter that always makes these visits enjoyable. They still had more to tell us about their trip to Mexico and we still had things to tell them about Arizona
We always loved the desert Sunsets.
The temperature is finally starting to climb and we are looking forward to it so we can get some of those chores scratched off of our list. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.
