Cancelled Appointment, LaSalle and Happy Mothers Day.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I was delayed in writing the Blog last night, so I barely had it published before midnight. I actually managed to get a Twenty Minute Nap in my Recliner before waking. Thinking I could go straight to Bed and sleep until morning, that was where I headed. Unfortunately, like many other nights I lay there praying for sleep before I started staring at the Ceiling. Even though the Adult Dosage was Two ZzzQuil Capsules to help you sleep, I prefer to only take a single capsule. I spent another Two Hours sleeping in my Recliner before finishing the night in Bed.

We settled for a Yogurt Cup and Cookies for breakfast. Once I had verified the weather for the day, I went for a shower. When I got out and looked at the time, I instantly thought I was going to be late for my appointment, so we went rushing out the door. It wasn’t until we got a few blocks up the road that I realized that my appointment was not until 1:15, an Hour later. Since breakfast would be long past and we had the extra Hour, we stopped for lunch at Wendy’s. Thinking this would be more of a Linner, we used a Coupon to keep our costs down while having Chicken Sandwich meals. Since I want to lose the extra weight that I gained, we will not make a habit of this.

We took our time eating and driving to the Pain Care Clinic, so I encouraged Kathy to come in with me to get some walking exercise. When I was registering with the Receptionist, she told me that I did not have an Appointment. It was only Two Weeks ago today that I had the first Specialized Appointment and that was when this one was made. That was when she said the Doctor had to cancel all his appointments for today, due to a Family Emergency and they had tried calling me yesterday. What were the odds that they called my phone exactly at the time I was having a CAT Scan done. Since I did not hear the phone over the noise of the Machine while it sat with my belongings by the door, I did not check my phone for Messages.

Kathy has really wanted to check out LaSalle lately so that was where we went again. We first drove by the house on Laurier, that she helped raise her children in and we shared for Three Years. Then we drove past her brother Danny’s house on Sprucewood, that we were in just Two Weeks ago, but she insisted that wasn’t where he lived. I didn’t argue but kept driving towards home. On the way we swung into what is called Windsor Crossing Outlet Mall, where we often shopped together. What was really confusing to Kathy was that the Mall has nearly Tripled in size.

On the way home we stopped at another Dollarama. I told Kathy I had forgot something yesterday, (and I did) that I needed. She stayed in the Car while I found what I needed. I picked up a couple of Ice Cream Bars on the way out the door, that we enjoyed in the parking lot. Kathy will know what I needed to pick up in the morning.

We swung by Guardian Storage to get our Mail. With the sky starting to fill with Clouds we headed for home. It was 70 F (21 C) outside when we walked into our Apartment, so we quickly opened our Balcony Door to cool off. We could hear distant Thunder, but nothing was happening. Exactly at 4:00 it sounded like stones being thrown against our Windows, but it was Rain. Luckily, I had closed the Door minutes before.

We later watched a couple episodes of high-profile True Murder Cases.

Kathy keeps saying she wants to visit her brother Danny, but she says who we saw was not him. She remembers his Red Hair from more than Twenty-Five Years ago.

We would like to wish all our Female Family, Friends and Followers a Happy Mother's Day.
