Another Appointment and Hard Times At The Dollarama.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I really don’t know what happened last night but after going to Bed and sleeping for a while, I started feeling much better. It was just past 7:30 this morning when I started my day and Kathy was up minutes after 8:00.

We talked for a bit, before I started cooking up a Bacon/Veggie Omelette for breakfast. It served to fill multiple purposes, to use up the Leftover Stir-Fry, fill us up until we would have a late lunch and to fill the void left from last night’s illness.

We were out the door by 12:30. The light Northerly Breeze kept the temperature close to the 63 F (17 C) the entire afternoon.

When we arrived at Hotel Dieu Hospital, Kathy insisted on coming to the Parking Lot with me but struggled to walk all the way back. Fortunately, the X-Ray Department was directly inside the entrance. When I received the call scheduling this appointment, they insisted that I be there early. I was already registered when I was called in exactly on time. The orderly attempting to help me on the Table tried taking my Cane away, until I assured him he could have it after I was laying down. He stood with his mouth open after I used the Cane to get my Right Leg in place. Time in the Waiting Room Ten Minutes, time in the CAT Scan Room only Three Minutes. The Pain Care Clinic should take lessons.

Kathy actually waited inside the Lobby for the Five Minutes I had told her to, while I brought the Car around.

We headed to the nearby Wendy’s to have Chicken Nuggets for our late lunch.

Since the Dollarama locations closest to our home have not been carrying the Breakfast Juice we enjoy, we went to a central location. With her knee still bothering her, Kathy sat in the Car while I went inside by myself. Luckily, I recognized the Brand Name, because they had changed the design of the label. They also had the Cough Drops I prefer, that the locations closet to us seem to have stopped carrying.

I know that many like ourselves are dependent on Dollar Stores to make ends meet. As I was approaching our Car, a woman driving a Mercedes Sports Car, wearing high end Clothes and Jewellery walked in to do her shopping. Everybody is having hard times and I was not the only one looking. There were more Dollaramas before getting to our end of the city, that I would have stopped at in order to get what we needed.

We watched the “6 o’clock Local News” before worrying about supper. We finished the Perogies still left in the Freezer.

We later watched a few episodes of “Law and Order, Special Victims”.

Still have one more day of Medical appointments tomorrow. Then we get a day off.
