Replaced.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I forgot to mention something in Yesterday’s Blog. As we were about to leave Princess Auto, we got a call from Hearing Life, telling us that Kathy’s Hearing Aide was back from the Repair Shop. Even though I said we could be there in Fifteen Minutes, they were booked with other appointments. The soonest they could see Kathy was this morning.

After waking from the dreaded Alarm we only took time to have a Juice with our pills, before changing and heading out the door. At least it was warmer than yesterday 37 F (3 C) but feeling like Freezing with no breeze whatsoever.

We arrived at Hearing Life in Tecumseh with Ten Minutes to spare. Kathy had to surrender her remaining Aide so it could be paired with a new unit on their computer. According to the Repair Technician the old one could not be repaired so it was replaced with a New Hearing Aide. We were there less than Ten Minutes.

Since I had an appointment, and we hadn’t eaten breakfast we stopped at the Backroad Cafe. We enjoyed Belgium Waffles with Strawberries along with a few cups of Coffee to help keep us going.

We made a stop at Windsor Gas and Diesel to see if Monday would be good bring the Truck in for service. Jim was out picking up a customer’s truck, but Chris said it sounded good.

Our next stop was Advanced Rehabilitation Center for my Physiotherapy. Again, today after I was finished the routine exercises, they added a few more. One they have not asked me to do is to stand and sit without using my Arms or Cane to assist me. When I demonstrated my ability to repeatedly do so, Papi just stood there staring at me with her mouth open. When I was finished and ready to leave, I found Kathy talking to Carol in the waiting room.

We swung by Guardian Storage to collect our Friday Mail. Since we can’t access it on the weekends, we made the extra effort.

Next, we stopped at Dollarama to again stock up on the Brisk Lemonade and Iced Tea we like to drink. At this store we pay $1.00 for a One Litre Bottle, and we share it. At the grocery stores they sell 750mm Bottles for $2.25. Where do we get more bang for our buck?

We didn’t realize how late it was, 2:15, so we stopped at Arby’s and shared a Reuben Sandwich for a late lunch.

Finally, back home we were able to shed our jackets and open the Balcony Door to let the 59 F (15 C) air in.

We spent the rest of the afternoon getting caught up on our Computers. The 6 o’clock Local News showed we’ll be enjoying our Indian Summer this weekend.

We shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza for a late supper, while watching a Hallmark Movie.
