Early Thanksgiving Celebration.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

We could really get used to this sleeping at night like we are supposed to. I only rolled over once throughout the night and when I opened my eyes the next time, the Clock showed that I overslept. I couldn’t blame waking up to the Sun in my eyes, because it was nowhere to be found.

Opening the Balcony Blinds didn’t help, because the Heavy Clouds and Drizzle made it appear like the middle of the night.

With Toast for breakfast, we took our Hot Chocolates to the Computers. We were just getting comfortable when Kathy’s phone started ringing. It was our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa calling. They would be celebrating Thanksgiving with her father and brother’s family so we wouldn’t see them today. They normally spend this weekend camping but lucked out by doing it last weekend instead having warm temperatures and sunny days. We’ll get together for a brunch later this week.

We kept lunch lite by simply having Chicken Noodle Soup. It’s a good thing we did.

We arrived at our daughter Karen’s house in Tecumseh around 2:30 to celebrate Thanksgiving. She already had everything under control, so we couldn’t help with anything. Tyler and Jess were there along with Nova. Sanford is always happy to see us and even Stanley was in a playful mood.

Greg arrived home from work shortly after 3:00 and it wasn’t long before super was served. As per usual no-one left the table hungry. We were talking how thankful we are compared to those down south. They normally spend a week every year at a Motel in St Petersburg Florida, but the last report showed there was Five Feet of Sand in the unit they normally stay in. Kathy and I were thankful for the way my Hip is healing so well.

After a pleasant visit we were home before 6:30 with a share of goodies that will keep us fed for a few days.

We found another Paranormal Comedy to watch tonight.

Both Kathy and I would like to wish our Canadian Readers a Happy Thanksgiving.

To sit alone with my conscience will be judgment enough for me.
