Plans, The Back Seat and More Rain.

Since more shops are starting to open up for business I Planned (there’s that word again) to take the truck and go hand out some Resumes this morning. By the time I was ready to go out the door Kathy was just getting up so I had the chance to Kiss her before leaving.

Before driving away I immediately looked to find the Folder that the Resumes were stored in but couldn’t find it. When we moved into the Apartment things got put in the Back Seat. When we brought the Trailer to the Dealership more things got put in the Back Seat. When I did the small welding repair for our daughter even more things got put in the Back Seat. That’s not what I want the Back Seat to be for but since we haven’t been using the Truck much lately it has become a catch all.
I returned to the Apartment just in case the Folder was up there but it wasn’t. Looking outside there were suddenly Puddles gathering in the parking lot that were not there before. Most of the things that are in the Back Seat belong in the Trailer so we’ll see about dropping them off at the Storage Unit so that if the Folder is in fact in the Back Seat I can find it.
For lunch I modified a Caesars Salad with chopped up Bacon, Celery, Onions and Peppers before adding Shredded Mozzarella Cheese. Kathy put together a dessert plate with Cookies, Oranges and Yogurt Cups along with Tea to drink. The Thick Clouds came and went the entire afternoon but there was no further Rain.

The 6 o’clock Local News was talking about more Virus Cases in the area and since the Local Health Unit is trying to get a handle on it rather then giving the name of the person infected they give the names of the Businesses they visited urging anyone who may have gone there to get tested. They also continue to remind everyone to wear their Mask. We should be seeing more Rain overnight.
For supper we had Baked Beans on Toast before we did the Dishes. Tomorrow we’ll try getting things done without making Plans. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. I know all about making plans...mine fell by the wayside as well.

Love the quote from Ruth Bader Ginsburg, such a smart woman that I highly respect.

  2. That's the point of making plans, I guess. So often, they are changed. You think we'd learn!

  3. Sounds like you had a good day anyway. Hopefully your folder turns up.
