Again I managed to get to bed late and was wide awake before 7:30 this morning. Even though I had already started looking at things on the Computer everything was ready to serve for breakfast. That was a good thing because it seemed that soon after Kathy realized I was no longer in bed she came out to join me. She could not understand why she was still feeling tired until she saw that it was not even 8:00 yet.
Once we started back at the Computers an interesting question on a Comment had me personally wondering the same thing. The night our Trailer was supposed to arrive at the Factory Repair Shop in Indiana a number of Midwest US States were struck with a Derecho. That is the equivalent of an Inland Hurricane not a Tornado. I have since put in several calls to the Jayco Customer Representative who was supposed to be overseeing the repairs but have not heard back. He was possibly on vacation or he’s ignoring me which is not a wise thing to do. I’ll wait until tomorrow so if I call early we might actually talk.
For lunch we had the Leftover Pulled Pork on a Bun from Lou’s Kitchen with microwaved Corn as a side. Kathy made us each a dessert plate with Grapes, a Nanaimo Square and Yogurt Cup. We later worked together to clean up the Dishes.

After letting our lunch settle a bit Kathy started trying on the Clothes we brought from our Storage Unit yesterday while I finally got in Two Sets of my exercise to try and get back into my routine. Kathy has more Clothes that she’s donating though she’s keeping some while I have less Aches and Pains.
We watched the 6 o’clock Local News before we thought about having anything to eat. We chose to have Perogies with Sour Cream and Shredded Cheese for supper. We then finished the small amount of Chapman’s Chocolate Frozen Yogurt we had in the Freezer for dessert.

We managed to get caught up on our evening reading before 9:00 when we again watched the Democratic Presidential Nomination. We are interested in how this process works so this is a learning process. Since we tend to travel in the US as much as Canada we feel it is something we should know because not only do we have Friends but Family as well that are American citizens. Maybe because we are seeing this as observers from the outside we are seeing disturbing things that many others are not seeing.

Tonight the platform was laid out showing that Gun Violence, Climate Change, Health Care, Immigration, Equality, Women’s Rights, Jobs, Domestic Violence Against Women, Small Business and Child Care will all be things that they plan to address.

Not sure what we’ll be doing tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.

  1. Thank you for addressing my comment and I hope you can hear back from them soon for your own peace of mind.

I do not know if they sell Lou's Kitchen here but the pulled pork looks really good.

I too watched the third night of the DNC and tonight was fabulous! I liked that the Democrats have an actual plan and will address issues that are important to all Americans, not just a few.

I applaud the fact that you guys being foreigners want to learn about our political system. I wish some of our own citizens would take the time to do so or at least watch both conventions to become more informed and vote accordingly.
