We were so tired that we were both in bed shortly after 10:00 last night. Even that wasn’t enough to recharge our batteries because it was nearly 8:30 when we stumbled out of bed this morning and the Timer on my CPAP Machine verified that it had been running over Ten Hours.

We kept breakfast Lite with a Muffin before taking our Coffees over to our Computers. That allowed us more relaxation time before getting busy.

Once my inside chores were completed it was time to do others outside. Since Kathy had packed up the Trash and cleaned out the Front Flowerbed I needed to take the Truck to carry everything. My first stop was the Composting Bin located behind the Park Maintenance Building. There I had to rip open the Plastic Bags to add the Yard Waste into the Bin. Then driving back near the Clubhouse I disposed of the remaining Trash at the Trash and Recycle Area.

With lots of Weekend RVers pulling in and out I thought it safer to bring the Truck back to our Site. I then walked back to the Park Exercise Room to work out a lot of Kinks that my body was starting to develop. Last weekend the Clubhouse had been really busy so I couldn’t exercise. The first thing after opening Windows to cool the place down I cautiously got on the Scale. This was not a good week Three Pizzas, Eating Out a few times as well as having Seconds the other day. Was I ever in for a surprise. Since starting back to Work I have lost 21 Pounds. By the time I walked back Home I was feeling much better. Even though Kathy hasn’t been weighing herself the way her clothes are starting to fit she has also been loosing some weight.
Our only picture taken today.
We had discussed going out this afternoon so Kathy decided we should have a healthy but filling lunch. She started with the Split Pea Soup with Provolone Cheese on Crackers topped with Olives. Then we each had a Clementine Orange along with sharing a single slice of Chocolate Fudge Cake we got at the grocery store on Friday night.

Since I have been working we miss the time that we are not together so we planned on having a Date. After finishing lunch we were soon out the door heading for Windsor. It was around the end of March that we last went to see a movie at the Theaters so that is where we were going. We went to the Odeon Cineplex at the Devonshire Mall to see “Ad Astra” starring Brad Pitt, Donald Sutherland and Tommy Lee Jones. We gave it Two Thumbs Up.

For supper we stopped at Wendy’s for our Chicken Wraps, Small Chocolate Frosties and Seniors Soft Drinks as a way of topping off our Date. Now that summer is over the cost went up by Two Dollars to $9.17.

Instead of going straight Home we headed to Essex to see if the Home Hardware Building Center might have the Tool that I was looking for the other day. Again they no longer carry them but we did find the Silicone Sealer we need to fix our shower.

We thought about making a short visit with our daughter-in-law Jen but when we arrived at her house there was no car anywhere around so we finally headed for Home.

Even though the Sun was shining brightly we seemed to be collecting tons of Bug Smears all over the Windshield. As soon as Kathy was inside I went out with the small pad that I have and cleaned all the Bugs off the Windshield within minutes.

Our neighbours Mike and Pat were sitting outside enjoying the cool breeze. Mike asked me a few questions about towing as he has never towed a Fifth Wheel before but plans to go for a few Practice Runs with it before the end of the RV Season here at Wildwood Golf and RV Park. While I was talking with Mike overloading him with information Kathy was giving Pat some pointers as well. Since either they have not been at the Park or we have been gone we haven’t had much time to visit. Tonight we filled their heads with all kinds of ideas in the near Two Hours we visited.

We enjoyed our Date Day but now we have to get ready for the Work Week. I’ll let you know how that is tomorrow. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

  2. Good to hear that you finally slept in. While Kathy is a petite lady I worry about you because you are a big man and you are working under harsh conditions while your food intake is rather limited.

While glad you are losing weight, I just hope you do not become anemic. Good to hear you had a great date day.
