Strange Things Happening.

Like many nights lately, last night I started my night in my Recliner, then went to Bed to finish getting the sleep I needed. What caused me to chuckle was, that I was sleeping soundly when I heard noise from the Bedroom, then Kathy went to the Bathroom, I looked at the Livingroom Clock. I try to be in Bed by 2:00 and that was what the Clock showed. With Kathy still in the Bathroom, I went to Bed. When she came back, she padded down my side as she always does, then did it again, as if in disbelief, not remembering me being there before. We held hands most of the night.

Waking by 8:00, I got our breakfast snack ready before checking things on the Computer. I was just finishing a call to Health First Pharmacy, to order refills for our Prescribed Medications, when Kathy came out to join me. She had the strangest dream. I told her it was real and she appreciated that information. While she readied herself to go out, I took my shower.

We stopped at Shoppers Drug Mart, to take advantage of Thursday’s Seniors Discount Day. With the chore of Doucettes coming up, some Vitamins were needed to fill the void.

From there we went to Wendy’s to have lunch, while using a Coupon. We normally get the Six-Piece Chicken Nuggets, but these Coupons were for Ten-Piece Meals. I’m still having to use my Cane for Balance and since we are regular customers at this location, while I was filling our Soft Drinks, both Tracy a Manager and Paula brought our trays to our table. Like yesterday, I saw Kathy putting a few of her Nuggets on my tray. We took our time, since my appointment was not until 2:00. We waved good-bye around 1:00.

We arrived at the Windsor Pain Care Clinic to find the Waiting Room packed. Kathy chose to sit in the Hallway where it was quieter so she could read. I could see her trying to read, when a couple of women stood right in front of her talking for nearly Ten Minutes before moving on. Normally I wait One to Three Hours after my appointment time before being called in. Today it was a new record, only Forty Minutes. When asked how the New Medications prescribed the last time were doing, I mentioned that they left me awake most nights. I was honest about them, and my opinion of how the switch should have been made. With the Neck Ablation relieving some Shoulder Pain, they only injected the Right Shoulder today.

This morning the Radar had showed Rain heading our way. When we came out, the sky was Black. The Clinic had just contacted the Pharmacy of my changes to my Medications, but with the weather looking bad and the fact I had other Three-Month Refills to pick up tomorrow, we headed straight home where I dropped Kathy off at the front entrance.

After parking the Car, on my way in I stopped to check out the contents of our downstairs Mailbox. Besides the normal Sales, I found something for the first time since we have lived here, Wendy’s Fast-Food Coupons.

We were watching the “6 o’clock Local News” when the Weather Guesser showed we reached a high of 81 F (27 C) feeling like 91 F (33 C). He just finished saying that at 6:24 pm, when Environment Canada interrupted the News to issue a Tornado Alert for the North shore of Lake Erie and the repeated it at 7:22. I immediately checked the Radar to see the Severe Storms following the South shore of Lake Erie in Ohio, Someone needs to fix their compass. We had a brief morning shower, but no other Rain today.

We later watched a couple more episodes of the Science about the Americas, narrated by Tom Hanks. It is unbelievable what wonders this world holds. Right from the beginning, they have advertised this to be an Eight-Part Series and since there are Two Episodes each night, I thought tonight would be the end. Then the advertised for next week came on, so it must be an Eight-Week Series. I hope I’m correct in this assumption.

While Kathy got ready for Bed, I was about to add an Extra Strength Tylenol to my Doucette, when I dropped the Tablet. It bounced on the Table and landed directly in the open Doucette. It would never have happened if I tried.
