Yesterday, I wondered how some Questionable Changes might affect the way that I feel, since they are taken just before I try to sleep. The fact that is what I figured would be the most important concern for me. Even Stew agreed with that concern. Instead of helping me to sleep, I actually believe they helped to keep me awake. It was a back and forth night that saw me taking Extra Strength Tylenol as well as Two ZzzQuil sleep aides. I managed to see how bright the Livingroom was during the Thunderstorm at 2:45. the Rain looked like Fog but the way the Door was getting washed I knew the difference. The end result was about Ten Minutes of sleep all night and a Pounding Headache from the lack there of. It has been some time since I took a Tylenol with my morning Vitamins.
After a breakfast snack and our Coffees at the Computers, the first thing I did was to call the Pharmacy. Danielle explained that switching Medications could take up to Week, before any effect is noticeable. Though the one shows a lower dosage in mgs, its chemistry should help me better control my Pain in the long run. She did suggest calling the Pain Care Clinic, for more clarification.
Strangely, the Automated Answering System at the Windsor Pain Care Clinic, mentioned they were having Technical Issues and to try calling back later.
We shared a smaller version of the Bacon/Veggie Omelets that I normally make, even reducing the number of Eggs and Mozzarella Cheese chunks added.
I was finally able to leave a Voice Mail at the Windsor Pain Care Clinic by 1:00. I am still waiting to hear back from them and they closed at 4:30. All I know is if I have another of those nights, they won’t have to call me.
When The Weather Network showed our Humidex to be 106 F (41 C) with threats of Severe Thunderstorms this afternoon, Kathy did not want to go anywhere. Showing her how to follow my Radar apt, did nothing to change her mind.
That was the perfect time to have Epson Salts Foot Baths to help ease the Aches and Pains we get with our age. That is something we should be doing more of. Many, do not realize how much work their feet do every day.
Sticking with the theme of not wasting food, I went all out on serving Honey Garlic Spareribs with Asparagus Spears and Sauteed Potato Slices, along with a glass of Carbonated Apple Juice (Fake Wine). Always good to splurge once in a while.
We were watching the “6 o’clock Local News” when our daughter Karen called. She has been trying to check how we are doing, but if she calls Kathy’s phone when we are out, it is normally at the bottom of her Purse where she does not hear it. She was in a Severe Accident years back and though still works, will be getting Therapy for the rest of her life. She gave me some helpful hints that I will try to use, including having our Family Doctor referring me to another Pain Clinic.
We caught the final report by the Weather Guesser.
Kathy, said that we should just learn to put up with the Pain. That is why many of our Ancestors are no longer with us, because the Pain got to be too much.
The First Wave of tonight’s Thunderstorm started at 7:30, the same time our Electrical Power flickered before returning. The Storm was finished by 8:00. There will be many more Waves overnight. I might get to Bed earlier tonight to make up some lost sleep.
