Since we were so tired from the lack of sleep on Saturday night, I even waited to do the Dishes until this morning. Of course, with Kathy repeatedly waking me throughout the night, made it feel like a repeat. Kathy came out to join me, while I was still washing the dishes. It almost looked like discuss on her face, before she just leaned back and fell asleep in her Recliner.
I have missed having Cereal for breakfast, so that is what we had this morning, just in a smaller quantity than we normally have. Our appetites must be shrinking, just wish the Middle Age Bulge would do the same.
While having our Coffees at the Computers, I received a call from Danny, Kathy’s brother. He explained that the last few times we stopped over, he was busy selling his seedlings as he does every year. Now that is finished for this season. Strangely, when I passed the phone for Kathy to talk, he had already hung up.
Having checked the forecast for the next Week, we decided to do more cleaning at the Trailer today. First things first, we stopped at Popeye’s to order off their $4.00 Menu. Just like breakfast, these smaller portions are filling us up and holding us over.
After arriving at Guardian Storage, we immediately headed to the Trailer. Since the decision to sell it, Kathy decided she would bring the second half of her good Dinnerware back to the Apartment. I had also been collecting Solar Equipment to add to the Trailer. Since we won’t get what the Trailer is worth, selling that equipment separately, will help minimize the loss. I had already made multiple loads to the Truck, when we had to call it a day. Our Feel Like Temperature was 93 F (34 C) and we were running out of water. The Trailer is starting to look empty. It took very little time to put what is not coming home with us in the Storage Unit.
When we left, we had errands to run. If you recall, last week, the Control Handle on our Shower Head had Snapped off and we simply made do with what we had. Also, Kathy’s Watchband is stretching to the point, it could break anytime soon. We stopped at Canadian Tire where I knew that they would have Plumbing Supplies, but was surprised to find that they also carried some outdoor use Watches. Kathy found one that she could easily get along with.
Luckily, before we left this morning, I turned on the Air Conditioner, so we would not be sweating when we got home. After we cooled down by having a Frozen Juice Bar, I headed out to the Truck to bring our treasures in. Luckily, I had also brought home our Two Wheeled Utility Cart that made the process much easier.
That didn’t stop me from sweating profusely when I walked in, but Kathy said she was getting Cold. I adjusted the setting but that wasn’t enough, she finally put her Denim Jacket on.
According to the Weather Guesser on the “6 o’clock Local News”, we have lots of Rain heading our way, starting tomorrow. We also have appointments, so it looks like we’ll get to test our New Raincoats.
It was 7:00 when we finally shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Hawaiian Pizza for a late supper.
