Cleaning Our CPAPs, Visiting The Clinic and Family.

Our Location today is at Wildwood Golf and RV Park, McGregor, Ontario.

With all the shoulder pain from waxing the Trailer I was experiencing last night I made certain to take an Extra Strength Tylenol before going to bed. After waking twice throughout the night just to roll over I wasn’t surprised that it was after 8:00 when I opened my eyes this morning.

I had barely started getting things ready for breakfast when Kathy joined me downstairs. While eating we reviewed what we had on today’s agenda and since there was a medical appointment we made no plans for me to get all sweaty working outside beforehand.
Dull by the letters, Shiny by the graphics by using the Coconut Oil.
After reading some of the Comments about the Coconut Oil I’m glad to see that we were not the only ones surprised by its use in this fashion. I was told to apply the Wax first then to go over it with the Coconut Oil so that is what I plan to continue doing. I will however experiment with a small spot that is not too visible by just cleaning it then applying only the Coconut Oil. When I see the what happens I’ll definitely let the rest of you in on the results. We did take a picture though the contrast. It doesn’t jump out at you like it does when seeing for yourself but if you look closely there is a difference in the shine.

Besides our normal morning chores today we had to clean up and pack our CPAP Machines for transporting. While I cleaned out the Water Chambers and changed the Air Filters Kathy was busy cleaning off the Outer Shells. It was surprising how dirty they had gotten just since we’ve been back to McGregor. Compared to Quartzsite this is like being in a Hospital yet there was lots of dust.
Kathy had an upset stomach and wasn’t feeling terribly hungry by 12;30 but we made lunch anyways. We made Vegetable Soup served along with an Orange, a few Cookies and a Pudding Cup as a dessert.
Near the Airport.
We continued getting caught up on our Blog Reading until 2:15. That was when we headed out for Windsor. Just as we were about to back out of our Site someone heading for the Transient Area stopped behind us looking for their Site. Our Neighbour informed them they had turned too soon and they were blocking traffic.
We arrived at the Windsor Sleep Disorder Clinic at there new location by 3:00 which gave us time to fill in the normal First Appointment Paperwork. We were very lucky to be able to have this consultation together because at the Old Clinic this would not have happened even though some of the questions being asked can only be answered by your Spouse. Since my Machine is only Seven Years Old they were able to access the information off of a SIM Card. Kathy’s Nine Year Old Machine did not have that feature but they adjusted it slightly for her. We are both scheduled for a Sleepover at the end of the month and we have to wait another month for the results.
With this being Friday we drove over to Guardian Storage to check on our Mail. Carol wished us a good weekend.
We then went to Wendy’s where Kathy enjoyed her full sized Apple Pecan Salad while I enjoyed the Jalapeno Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Chili as my side instead of Fries. Of course it was still warm enough outside for us to each enjoy a Small Chocolate Frosty as our dessert.
With the Sleepover scheduled at the end of the month Kathy needed Summer Weight Pajamas so we drove over to Giant Tiger. It took a while but she was able to match up a set from seperates. We also picked up a few other things that were priced cheaper then even at Walmart.
Wild Flowers growing along the curb.
Having been so successful at finding what we needed and it was still early we decided to go visit our daughter Karen. We haven’t seen the family since Tyler’s High School Graduation night. Karen had just gotten home from work, Greg was just returning with Pizza and Tyler along with a couple of his Fellow Classmates were in the Pool after working all day. We enjoyed a cup of Coffee while catching up on what has been happening in everyone’s lives. It was only an Hour visit put it was nice.

With Thunderstorms in the forecast for tomorrow we’ll see what we can do. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

The graduate with a B Sc. degree asks, "Why does it work?"
The graduate with a B Eng. degree asks, "How does it work?"
The graduate with a MBA degree asks, "How much will it cost?"
The graduate with an Arts degree asks, ""Do you want fries with that?"

  1. It will be interesting to see what the Coconut "Oil" will look like over time.

  2. One learns something new every day. I had no idea CPAP machines had SIM cards embedded in them. I am very interested in your participation in the sleep disorder clinic and will be following your progress closely.
