More Accomplished, Good Workout, Another Attraction To See and A Wonderful Meal On The Grill.

Our Location today is at McGregor, Ontario, Canada.

We both slept until 8:00 this morning because neither of us wanted to leave the warmth of our bed. As soon as we opened the Window Shades we were greeted by the Sun shining off the nose of our neighbour’s trailer that added a brilliance to the colour of the trees. By the time our Coffees and breakfast were made the Sun had disappeared behind a thick wall of Clouds. Kathy really enjoyed her Hot Cereal as it helped warm her up.

Checking The Weather Network it showed the temperature had risen and was already feeling like 19 F (-7 C). With the Northwesterly Winds gusting to 30 MPH we would later be surprised to see some Die-Hard Golfers bundled up trying to get just one more game in for the season.

The Electric Fireplace was struggling to keep the Trailer comfortable inside so after cleaning the Filter on the Cube Heater we brought home from the Storage Unit the other day we turned it on in the Kitchen area until mid afternoon to supplement the Fireplace.
For lunch Split Pea Soup was made and it helped to take more of the chill out of our bones.

Thinking that I could get some things done outside I bundled up and managed to finish fastening our Bicycle Carrier on the back of the Trailer. The Tandem Bicycle was set up to travel by removing the Second Set of Handlebars, folding the Pedals, rotating the Mirror and Front Handlebars along with covering the Seats with Plastic Bags to keep them dry. Even thought the Bike will be covered the seats can’t get wet by using the Plastic Bags.

Stopping for a moment to check the Temperature it had finally reached the Freezing Mark. Back outside I managed to replace the Bike Cover before uncovering our Trailer Tires and removing the Scissor Chocks.

I went inside because I was cold but needed to limber up. Kathy gave me her blessings before I headed over to the Park Exercise Room. I was there for only a Half Hour but when I walked back to the Trailer I needed to open my Jacket to cool off.

Kathy used my Computer while I ran some scans on her’s. Once everything checked out we started catching up on some of the Blogs we missed this morning. When we read other Blogs that is where we get ideas of things to see and today was no exception. Looks like we’ll be stopping for another attraction just north of Tucson. We were using the Two Computers to get all the information that we needed.
The Winds had calmed to 19 MPH Gusts so Kathy had me grill some Boneless Pork Chops while she made a nice Southwestern Salad along with another Baked Sweet Potato. As usual everything tasted wonderful. By the time we had cleaned the Dishes, I ended up closing our Weber Q in the dark.

With less Wind and a slightly Warmer Temperature forecasted for tomorrow I should be able to get quite a bit finished. Thank you for following along and feel free to leave a comment.
Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Joke of the Day

I saw Elvis once.

He sat between me and Bigfoot on the UFO.

  1. Tucson is one of my favourite stop over spots during the winter. They have so many attractions and sights to see in the area. The road to Mt. Lemon, or going through Gates Pass, or even going through Saguaro National Park East gives you a perspective of the beauty of the desert amongst the Mountains. Probably why I keep going back after 5 years.
