Special Surprise And Rearranging.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Last night while visiting with Kevin and Melissa we had our usual enjoyable visit. Melissa was taught while a young child that proper etiquette includes having snacks for your guests and last night was no exception. This past winter we have been way behind in our exercising we seem to have developed a taste for any “See Food” especially the sweat ones. The problem was with all that sugar we spent most of our night tossing, turning and staring at the ceiling.
When we finally woke up this morning we had a lighter than normal breakfast because we had a long awaited luncheon engagement to get ready for. After the normal chores and activities, we were out the door shortly after 10:30 this morning heading over to Applebee’s to meet our friend Vera for lunch. It had been quite some time since we have had a chance to visit because she has been busy dealing with coordinating the health care for her husband Bill. We had an enjoyable visit talking about a number of different things before during and after our meal. Before we knew it we had visited for almost two hours. We had planned on taking Vera out for lunch but she insisted it was her treat as and early birthday gift for the both of us for the support we have given her since the time of Bill’s injury. “Thank You Vera your gift was truly appreciated.”
After a quick stop at the Credit Union to do some banking we went straight back to the apartment. We managed to mount our last remaining television in the apartment on one of the clothing bins that will be brought to the trailer. The actual TV stand along with other things got wrapped up and loaded into the truck to be brought to our Storage Unit.
Within a short time, we were on our way to Guardian Storage where the first thing we did was bring everything inside the building to our Climate Controlled Storage Unit. This afternoon’s weather forecast was calling for rain turning to snow for tomorrow so we wanted to keep everything dry. We had to rearrange some items in order to keep them easy to get at but we also had to reconfigure our clothing racks. Having assembled the racks according to the instructions it was starting to be difficult to move the rack through the aisles we had allowed. We transferred all the clothes to one rack while I reconfigured the other and then transferring all the clothes back to repeat the process on the second rack. Now the clothing bags are staggered from the opposite sides of the rack centering the weight more on the rack and making the load a foot narrower.
We also stopped at the trailer first to check if the bicycle carrier I’d once made for our old trailer would fit this one. With a few adjustments it will work better and put less strain on the rear bumper than any store bought units. Not knowing if the water will be turned on when we pull into Wildwood Golf and RV Park we gathered our containers from inside the trailer to fill with drinking water before we take the trailer there.
After defrosting the Upright Freezer the other day, I had called Bill the gentleman who purchased it.  He’ll be around to pick it up tomorrow and we’ll find a few more things to pack up all in and effort of starting our Fulltiming Adventure. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Most of our parks hee don't turn on the water until May 1st and some May 15th. We know how to conserve quite well.

  2. Sounds like you two are ready to start your new adventure. I hope we are half as organized, when we get home, with our packing. Stay warm.
