Sleepless Nights, Continuing With Our Plan.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

It just seems that if one of us is having a good night’s sleep the other doesn’t. I was so tired from not having slept properly on Wednesday night that last night I slept like a rock. Last night however Kathy spent most of the night staring at the ceiling because her mind wouldn’t shut down. She even spent a couple of hours reading in the living room. Insomnia is a side effect of having Sleep Apnea which we both have.
I definitely wasn't dressed like this today.
We had a slow morning before going to the computers. Once I finished my reading I started loading things into the truck to bring back to the trailer. Unfortunately when I stepped outside my arms were full so I gritted my teeth until I got to the truck. As soon as I could I hustled myself back in the building because it was cold outside. Finding a coat to wear suddenly became a priority which is something I didn’t worry about since last winter.
The warmth would have been nice today
but the flames dangerous because of the wind.
After lunch Kathy and I headed over to Guardian Storage for two reasons. The first was a fact finding mission to gather more information for our plans. Unfortunately Wendy was away this week so we’ll have to go back next week. We then went to the trailer where Kathy and I both gathered a few more things to bring back to the apartment and for me to put the things that I’d brought from the apartment in the basement of the trailer. I then climbed to the roof and installed the air conditioner covers. The last chore we did together was to move the trailer forward and back it onto the planks to protect the tires from the winter weather. Then lastly we applied the tire covers.

By the time we left the trailer we were both cold and hungry so we stopped at Taco Bell for supper. Once we were on our way back to the apartment traffic suddenly was backed up just before we got home. There was a Fire/Rescue truck parked across the next intersection but we lucked out and turned into the parking lot without worrying about what had happen. We got cleaned up and changed and headed out the door to go to our daughter Karen’s. The Fire/Rescue truck was gone but the police had the street cordoned off and detoured traffic around where a motorcycle lay mangled under a large dump truck.
We spoke with Karen and Greg at their home about the accident and they’d seen it on the news. We also talked to them about our money saving plan for the future. At first it appeared that Karen didn’t like our idea but as she heard more about it she really started to understand it. Once we’ve let the rest of our family know what we are up to we’ll be letting the rest of our RV blogging family know our plans. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
