Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.
Kathy had a hard time falling asleep last night however shortly
after she finally fell asleep that was when I woke up for a couple of hours. We
managed to wake around the same time this morning shortly after 8:00. The
Weather Network forecasted that we’d experience perfect weather for the chores we
needed to do.
After finishing our morning reading both Kathy and I started
getting some cleaning in the living room accomplished. Once I’d moved the
television stand Kathy was quick to clean what she otherwise couldn’t reach. Since
the temperatures are much cooler I was able to vacuum the Air Conditioner and
wrap the exterior section in preparation for this coming winter.
Once lunch was finished Kathy returned to sorting things in
the closets that will save us time in the spring when we finally get a chance
to go fulltime. Everything on the car is now in tip-top shape so making certain
there is no rust on the body will keep it going much longer. It took quite a
long time to hand sand a paint bubble down to bare metal in order to remove all
the rust before reapplying multiple coats of primer paint. By tomorrow morning
the primer will be set enough to feather sand it and then apply the finish
paint.
For supper I grilled some spare ribs that Kathy had
marinated while she cooked an Acorn Squash and corn for the sides. Since there
was a family dentist appointment for Kevin’s family tonight we stayed home
tonight. We’ll just wait to visit with them until next Monday for our Canadian
Thanksgiving. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be
Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.
