Making Plans, Getting Rid of Stuff and Cool Night Ahead.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

The way the wind was rattling our open windows yesterday the only way we could get any peace and quiet last night was to close them. That meant we didn’t get the fresh air that we’ve become accustomed to so neither of us slept too well. I spent just over three hours wide awake at the computer in the middle of the night. Shortly after I went back to sleep Kathy was up suffering from nasal congestion.

We were up on time to have breakfast and check our E-mails before 9:30. That was the scheduled time for me to call my fellow co-worker/retiree and friend of thirty years Neal. We spent the next hour getting caught up on what we’ve both been up to since last fall and then made the promise of getting together for a coffee soon.

As mentioned the other day we’ve been having issues with our prescription medication lately. When all the medications are ordered at the same time the renewal should continue to happen at the same time. Unfortunately one of Kathy’s meds fell very short of that so for the remainder of the morning I spent counting each of her prescriptions making certain she is not being short changed.

Since we purchased our new bed cover yesterday we decided to pass on our older cover to our friends. After lunch we had a bunch of errands to run so the first place we went was to the Post Office to pick up a package of special gifts that Kathy had ordered online. The next stop was to our friends Kathie and Ross’s where we presented them with a new to them bed cover. We spent well over an hour visiting finding out what has taken place since we last saw them less than two weeks ago.

Our next stop was the Credit Union where we deposited the cheque from the Ministry of Transport for overpayment on our license sticker. When we parked the trailer in the storage yard after winterizing it the next day we went to the License Bureau and had the weight rating dropped on our truck. Since we won’t raise the rating back until we just before we leave late next year we will actually save a full year’s license fee. Getting that money back this morning in the mail made us feel good about our decision.

We then drove next door to Value Village and donated a bag of STUFF that Kathy decided we’ll never need again. Staying in the same parking lot we drove across to the Zehrs grocery store. Armed with our shopping list Kathy spent the next half hour finding just the right ingredients for some upcoming meals this week.
Simply changing how you lay the accent
changes the appearance of the bed.
The wind was really gusting by the time we got back to the apartment. That would have made it impossible to grill anything on the Weber so we used the oven tonight to bake a Delissio Pizza for supper. This pizza even though it was delicious had so much garlic in it that we won’t be worried about any vampires tonight. LOL!
That's a cold wind blowing from those clouds.
The wind is still trying to rattle the windows and with the forecasted temperature feeling well below freezing for tonight I’m sure we’ll keep warm snuggling under our new bed cover. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

It’s about time.

Krackers

Father: Who gave you that black eye?

Son: Nobody, I had to fight for it.

  1. Supposed to have some white stuff here this morning, sounds exciting, as long as it does not stay on the roads and we don't have to drive in it.
