Making Progress With Chores and Appointments

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Neither of us had any problem sleeping the entire night with the windows slightly open. Still it was only minutes after I got up that Kathy followed me into the dining room. We even spent a few minutes watching the end of a special before getting ourselves in gear.

Kathy had to get the dining room ready for her appointment with Mary the RN from Happy Heals. With the health care coverage we have and the fact that Kathy has Diabetes that causes problems with her toe nails the treatment is performed in our apartment. She will then submit the bill to our Health Provider and receive a full refund.

It’s been over a week since the last time that I did laundry so it was time. Luckily I had the laundry room to myself so I was back in the apartment fairly quickly. I had time to get caught up on my morning reading during the wash and dry cycles.

After returning with the folded clothes I changed into my working clothes and headed back out to do more bodywork on the car. Yesterday I’d sanded away all the rust down to bare metal before adding primer paint. The paint was allowed to cure until this afternoon before continuing the repair. Since the wind had changed direction today the car had to be relocated to block the wind during the spray painting process. There was more light sanding that was necessary to feather the edges of the primer and relocating the masking. After applying two light coats of paint the waiting game began again. Today’s paint will have to cure until adding of the clear coat takes place in a few days.

Kathy had made spaghetti and meatballs for supper. They were seasoned perfectly and tasted wonderful. As we watched the 6 o’clock News the sky started to darken and they forecasted possible thunderstorm activity for our area overnight. We had just sat at the computers to do our evening reading when the thunder started and was soon followed by waves of rain that are supposed to continue until morning.

Since the forecast is calling for cooler temperatures tomorrow and possible Frost on Saturday it looks like we’ll be running errands away from home tomorrow. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

  1. Will the health care worker still continue to help Kathy when you move into the 5er full time?
