Cooking, Baking, Another Disappointment and More Information.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

In order to sleep last night without the pain that I was feeling in my shoulder I just automatically took an extra strength Tylenol before going to bed. Even though I woke a few times through the night I would simply roll over and fall back to sleep. Kathy however had an over active imagination last night. She kept dreaming of moving into the trailer and starting our Fulltiming lifestyle. Wonder what brought that on? LOL!

After breakfast and reading on the computers Kathy was quick to get in the kitchen as she had plans for some baking and cooking. By lunch time she had made a nice steaming Homemade Split Pea Soup with plenty leftover for more meals. She had also made a wonderful Quiche that we would enjoy for supper and additional meals. Tomorrow when we go to our son Kevin and daughter-in-law Melissa’s home to celebrate our Canadian Thanksgiving Kathy volunteered to bring dessert. She also produced quite a number of Chocolate Drop cookies, Cherry tarts, Pecan tarts and Chocolate cake.
After lunch the temperature had increased enough for me to return outside to do more work on the car. Again I feathered the lighter coloured primer paint in hopes of finishing the job today. Once I’d applied the masking I cautiously applied two light coats of the finish paint before taking a break. I helped Kathy clean up the kitchen and dishes before checking on the then dried paint outside. Whoever mixed up that can of paint produced a black paint that is nowhere near brown in colour. At this point the only thing I could do was close up for the day.
Heading in from the parking lot I started talking with Grant who was on his balcony. We had worked together for a number of years before he retired. After we had moved into our apartment I ran into his wife Sandy while doing the laundry one day. It turned out they lived directly above us. He said to drop by for a visit so that’s what Kathy and I did. Kathy brought some of her extra baking which Sandy immediately laid dibs on the Cherry tarts. It turns out they are planning on moving sooner than we are. They were happy about our plans as well. We all exchanged information that will help them in their new apartment and us with our traveling. Grant also gave us the name of a few other RV parks in the area that take seasonal RVers but are not highly publicized.
Back at our apartment for supper the Quiche tasted wonderful along with a sampling of the pastries that will be served at tomorrow’s celebration. Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
