Dragged Out.

Our Location today is Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada.

Since we didn’t know if it would rain while we were away yesterday we closed all the windows and the Air Conditioner in the apartment before we left. The result was that when we walked in the door last night the first thing we needed to do was to open all the windows wide. We then left them wide open all night even though the temperature dropped to 52 F (11 C). Combine that with us being tired to begin with we both slept like logs. Kathy surprisingly was awake before me this morning.

After breakfast we started our morning ritual of reading at the computers before turning our attention back to research. Even though we thought of doing other activities today we just didn’t seem to have the energy to do so. We just continued working at the computers catching up on all the blogs that we had missed reading yesterday.

After a simple lunch of soup our research on the computers took a twist. Since Kathy has already established a route we’ll be taking on our way home next April and where we’ll be stopping at she started looking at something else. She started looking where we could go to get away to this summer in Ontario. The hardest part was finding parks that our trailer will fit in but she did manage to figure out where we’ll be going.

For supper the Weber grilled a couple of nice steaks to perfection that went well with the Butternut Squash and sautéed mushrooms that Kathy cooked up. For dessert we stuck with the theme of not wasting food which is something we strive to do. We opened the Cookie Jar and split all the broken cookies and crumbs between two dishes then topped it off with a scoop of Frozen Yogurt. It all tasted great and no food was wasted in the making of this dish.

After watching the 6 o’clock news we went over to our daughter Karen’s for a short visit. She’d asked me to make a few small signs for her that we brought over.

Even writing this post at this early hour both Kathy and I are having trouble staying awake. What did we do that made us so tired yesterday? Thanks for following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!

That Goes for Your Dorky Magnets Too The front of the fridge is also not a place to post your funny anecdotes, New York Times articles, Dilbert cartoons, and Digg printouts. All it does is clog up the front of the fridge while some schmo is reading when I'm trying to get my lunch out. Send it by e-mail if you have to share, just not to me.

  1. Boy! I know what you mean. Sometimes I wonder what all I did that makes me so tired in the evening. Usually, it's not too much.

  2. I guess we are lucky always seem to get a good nights sleep. So many places to camp here in Ontario, but not all places are big rig friendly.
