We Shared.

Our Location today is Crystal River, Florida.

After nearly freezing the other night we made sure the furnace was turned on and we supplemented the heat using the Ceramic Cube Heater and our fuzzy warm comforter. We slept soundly and until after 8:00 and woke up toasty. Of course once we started moving around the trailer you could tell being in bed was the warmest place to be. Kathy noted during breakfast that she was feeling better than she has for days. That’s when I noted that my head was stuffed and my throat felt like it was filled with broken glass. 

Even though I needed to work on a slow water flow when I opened the door a decision was made to wait until after lunch because it felt too much like the weather we’d left back home. We spent the rest of the morning watching the Weather Network and working on the computers. Our Daughter Karen again E-mailed telling us how lucky we were to have left when we did and that their forecast is for lots of white stuff and severely cold temperatures for the next week. 

I forgot to mention yesterday that when I spoke to Bill the Manager at General RV and gave him the list of things his people messed up on he was very apologetic and if I needed to get things fixed while we are here to bring the bill for a full refund. He was going to the repair building immediately after to talk with his people about their work ethics and how it effects the reputation of the business. He thanked me for calling to tell him of the problems we experienced because this way he can make certain that it doesn’t happen to anyone else including us ever again. 

As soon as lunch was finished I dragged myself out to do some set up so it didn’t look like we were just about to leave town. Kathy came out for some fresh air and ended up raking where we would lay the mat down. I pegged the mat and set up the lawn chairs before getting the bicycles off the back of the trailer and setting up our clothes lines which mounts to the bumper. 

Kathy went to checkout an RV Cleaning service but ended up talking to Donna Haynes. They chatted for a while because Kathy had been in bed yesterday when I’d spoke to Donna and Ralph. They left with promises of getting together in a few days when the temperature warms up. I had continued rearranging the basement but in my present state made more of a mess. 

Kathy helped to depressurize the water system a number of times as I changed one thing after another to improve our water flow. Our pressure regulator was the worst offender but I also found debris screens that were nearly plugged solid. Kathy told me to pack it in for today as we needed to get some groceries so I’ll try replacing one of our filters tomorrow. 

We ended up at Winn Dixie where we got everything to last us for the next week and even some nice salmon filets that I grilled on the Weber while Kathy made a wonderful salad and cooked up a nice Sweet Potato that we shared.
