Our Location today is Old Town, Florida.
With the change of weather it seemed that neither of us
could keep our eyes open last night and by 11:30 we simply wished one another a
Happy New Year and closed the lights. Kathy slept a lot better last night
because we ran the furnace the entire night and she had the sound of raindrops
tapping on the roof which always makes her sleep. This morning the temperature
outside was a cool 52 F (11 C) but because of the continuing rain the
temperature never moved until after the sun set this evening and it surely didn’t
rise.
Enjoying our bowls of hot oatmeal this morning and hot
coffees we felt slightly warmer but with the constant rain we made it an indoor
day. After our morning reading on the computers Kathy started getting caught up
on our budget entries and was doing good until she realized she needed another
category. That gave her the time to read a book she started just before we left
home while I modified the spreadsheet that I had created to make her job
easier.
For lunch she made a wonderful Baby Spinach Salad with a
small serving of chicken on the side keeping it light but filling. She
continued her reading while I set-up additional budget sheets for the next
seven years. Once I’d finished explaining the changes to Kathy I played a few
games while Kathy decided to take a Snap in an attempt to finally shake
whatever was bothering her.
We were back home by 7:00 as Kathy was again tiring and
wanted to rest up as tomorrow we’ll be moving to our next camp. Thanks for
following along and feel free to leave a comment. Be Safe and Enjoy!
It’s about time.

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
The divided plate is a good idea. There is always too much temptation at potlucks. Have a wonderful 2014.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a busy and fun day! Happy New Year!

ReplyDeleteHope Kathy feels better soon and kicks that bug.... it hit us twice and we are hopefully over it now for the new year.
