Phone Calls and Springtime.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

After publishing the Blog earlier than most nights, I was able to tip back in my Recliner in hopes of falling to sleep. Strangely, it actually worked for a couple of Hours, before I shuffled off to Bed. Going to sleep was not a problem, it was trying to sleep through the redeveloping Pain caused be laying on worn Shoulders and misaligned Neck. Like the other night, it was as simple as repeating the routines. I think that the folding of the Laundry yesterday may have aggravated the problem.

As a way to make space in the Fridge, breakfast was cut short by simply having Pastry to fill the voids in our stomachs.

We had just settled in at out Computers, when we received a call from Metropolitan Hospital looking for Marcus. It must have been someone new, because when I told her she had the wrong number, she instantly started reading out the number. When I asked, “What part of wrong number did you not understand”? She hung up.

Twenty Minutes later I received another call from the Canadian Blood Services about scheduling my next appointment. When I fill in my predonation Questionnaire, I also make the next appointment. I have it in my book, but somehow, they did not have it in their Computerized System. Since there is a Blood/Plasma Shortage at this time, I first thought that she was asking me to make extra donations. When giving Whole Blood, there is an Eight Week waiting period between donations, but if you are donating Plasma, the wait time is only One Week between. With all the other appointments we need to take care of, I spread my donations to every Month.

Lunch was a Homemade Italian Salad. It takes nearly as long to eat it as it does to make and the best part is the veggies bloat you so much, you do not start to feel hungry until after the “6 o’clock Local News” is over.

I have a bad habit, that if there is something that needs to be done, I put it ahead of my personal needs. This afternoon, the Pain in my Feet got so bad that I had to soak them in an Epson Salts Foot Bath. I’ll try again on the weekend, so that I can do Kathy’s Feet done as well.

All morning, we had Sunny Blue Skies to look at, every time we looked out the Balcony Door. After lunch, the sky grew dark and occasionally it was hard seeing the neighbouring homes through the Rain. Then the cycle repeated itself. By 3:30, the streetlights came on because it was so dark. Kathy jumped a few times when the Thunder clapped unexpectedly. I can still hear it off in the distance as I write this.

According to the Weather Guesser, even with all the Rain we had today, we still reached 63 F (17 C), but we will barely make it 37 F (3 C) tomorrow. It is definitely Spring in Southwestern Ontario.

Keeping it simple, after the “News”, we shared a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Pizza for supper. We also later watched “The Pitt”.
