Another night of broken sleep, bouncing back and forth between my Recliner and Bed. It is doubtful that I was soundly asleep, because the moment that I seemed to drift off, I was feeling the Pain in my Shoulders and Neck. Thankfully I have an appointment at the Windsor Pain Care Clinic tomorrow, so I might start seeing some relief by the end of the week.
I started my day at 7:25 this morning and knowing that Kathy would sleep a bit longer, I started by opening the Balcony Blinds. Just like yesterday, it was a reminder of what took place last week, Fog. Fortunately, I could still make out the outline of Betty Street directly behind our building. Once I had The Weather Network up and running on my Computer, it showed that we could expect Trace Rain, which will help to knock down the Fog.
With everything in place in the Kitchen, it was only a matter of minutes after Kathy joined me, before I started cooking up Brunch. We enjoyed our Toasted Egg Sandwiches. Kathy said she slept like a rock, which was a complete opposite of what I did.
Even with our outside temperatures only reaching 37 F (3 C) by 2:30, we were not as chilled as we were on Monday. Our first stop was Burger King for our late lunch. It felt strange because I believe the last time we were here was in January. With this being Wednesday, everyone was taking advantage of their Whopper Wednesday deal, and it showed, because the place was packed even at that time of the afternoon.
In Canada, it is Law that all Income Tax Return Forms be mailed (Snail Mail) by the end of February. That means we have to check our Mailbox at Guardian Storage at least twice a week, until we have them all. After we have everything we need, it will be easy to get our Returns E-Filed by the end of March. Today, there were Two Return Slips in our Mailbox.
Our next stop was Dollarama, where they finally had the Breakfast Juice that we prefer. Along with a few packages of Cough Drops, we were out of there in minutes.
Lastly, we stopped at the Zehr’s grocery store. Having used all our Vegetables except the Onions, we spent most of our time in the Produce section before heading out.
Kathy accompanied me to the parking lot, so she could help me load our Folding Two Wheeled Shopping Cart, to bring our purchases to the Apartment.
While visiting on Monday evening, we all seemed to do one thing as a way of saving money on our grocery bill. With the rest of the groceries put away, I was busy cutting Chicken and Salmon Fillets into meal sized servings, before placing them into Marked Ziplock Bags and into the Freezer.
The “6
o’clock Local News”
was over before we decided to share a Store-Bought
Thin-Crust Medium Pizza
for late supper. Tomorrow is supposed to be Warmer
and Wet.
Hopefully not Windy
as well.
Last year we had watched a special “Chicago Fire”, “Chicago Med”, “Chicago P.D.” put on as Miniseries that encompassed all three series. Tonight, they did something similar but different but still in the form of a Miniseries all under the title of the “Reckoning”. It kept us on the edge of our seats.
