SCAM Attempt and Fresh Air.

The first thing that I do after starting my mornings, is to check how much time I spend between my CPAP Machines. The hope was to eventually spend the entire night in Bed. You might have noticed that I used the past tense in that last sentence. Last night there was more time spent in my Recliner. Things are going backwards by over an Hour.

When Kathy joined me, the outside temperature was all of 21 F (-6 C) with Northerly Winds. Though we were in need of running a few errands, we would wait until after lunch to take care of them.

When Kathy checked her E-Mail, there was a notification that her Bank Accounts were empty and they were going to take legal action against her. You all recognize that as a SCAM, but anything like that, due to her condition, was having Kathy ready to call the number given. Luckily, when she started having problems controlling our finances before my Surgery, my name was added to her account, and I now monitor it On-Line. Once I was able to show her the Statement and proved to her that the Message had been a SCAM, she calmed down. Too many of those S.O.B.s take advantage of vulnerable people, especially Seniors, leaving them Penniless, all because they are too lazy to get an Honest Job themselves.

That delayed our departure, but we were soon on our way to Health First Pharmacy. Kathy has had a few Personal Blood Pressure Monitors, but somehow, they have all disappeared. Yesterday, our Family Doctor gave me a prescription for my very own. Strangely, if it belongs to me, it never disappears. Luckily, it was also covered by the Local’s Extended Health Care Coverage, so it only cost my time while Kathy waited in the Car.

We then headed to Guardian Storage to see if more of our Income Tax Return Slips had appeared. Our Mailbox was empty, so we will try one more time before going to our Accountant to get this submitted.

With Rush Hour Traffic starting to build, we stopped at the nearby Pita Pit to take advantage of their $8.00 Specials. Each location in the area has a different Special Day, which means you could travel from one location to another, to save Thirty Percent on Healthy Fast Food. It was nearly 5:00 when we headed for home.

Though it was only 41 F (5 C) outside, we had to open our Balcony Door to cool the Apartment. Since the New Management Company insists on controlling our Heat all the way from Toronto, we do what it takes to stay comfortable.

After watching the “6 o’clock Local News” we also watched “Will Trent”, “High Potential” and “R.J. Decker” for entertainment.

We have things to do tomorrow.
