Tests, Errands and Late Delivery.

Our Location today is Windsor, Ontario.

I am certain that many of you are getting tired of reading about our sleep issues and you might even consider just skipping the Blog entirely. Unfortunately, this is a part of our lives that we would also prefer that we would not have to live with, but must. Writing this Blog, gives us the reminder of what we went through on those particular days.

Last night was another back and forth between my Two CPAP Machines with the Bedroom location getting the highest time. Unfortunately, that time was not all sleep time, simply time connected to the Machines. The fact that I needed to add another Extra Strength Tylenol for the Shoulder Pain and a Half Dose of ZzzQuil sleep aide.

I was up by 7:15 and after turning on my Computer, washed up the Dishes I had left behind while watching the movie last night. Back at my Computer, I checked The Weather Network and my E-Mail. We could expect a wonderful day, with above seasonal temperatures and a message showed that Supplements I ordered just yesterday, were scheduled for delivery today.

When Kathy joined me, the only thing we had this morning was our Medications, before getting ready to leave. She had a hard time believing that it was already 57 F (14 C) outside at that time.

The Northwest Wind did add a bit of a bite, but we were soon in the Car on our way to Dyna-Care laboratories in Tecumseh. Kathy needs to be checked every Two Months, to be certain that her Arthritis Medication is not affecting her Liver. We used to be able to make appointments, but that ability was discontinued in January.

It took all of Fifteen Minutes before she was finished and we were walking out. A big difference compared to the Two to Three Hour waits at their other location.

We headed to Guardian Storage to collect our Mail, but the Supplements had not been delivered.

Next we stopped at Arby’s to have Reuben Sandwiches for lunch. Wanda was happy to see us.

Driving to the far side of the parking lot, we went to the Credit Union to pay our monthly bills. Next, we had to go to the Bank to put some Eggs in our other basket.

We then made a stop at the nearby Dollarama, to pick up Cough Drops and Brisk Iced Tea, before heading for home.

We used our Folding Two Wheel Shopping Cart to bring things upstairs. The moment we walked into the Apartment, we started sweating and had to open our Balcony Door and Bedroom Window. With our heat being controlled by the Management Company in Toronto, they did not realize that 250 Miles away in Windsor our outside temperature was 73 F (28.3 C). We also had to change to our Summer Shorts to cool down.

The heat also kept our eyes opening and closing, just what we were trying to avoid. Since lunch had been so filling, we waited until the “6 o’clock Local News” was over, before sharing a Store-Bought Thin-Crust Medium Chicken Pizza for a late supper.

We watched a few episodes of “Forensic Files” before calling it a night. The Wind has picked up with a chance of Thunderstorms heading our way. Checking my E-Mail, the Supplements were delivered minutes before closing. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

  1. The heat being controlled 250 miles away sounds, the first word that comes to mind , stupid. How is that in any way efficient? This inquiring mind wants to know,
